I think that again America did very well with the results. Undoubtedly, Lil deserved a spot, as did Scott. The third spot was up in the air between Jorge, Felicia & Ju'Not. I think the "huggability" of Jorge and his great emotion pushed him over the edge in votes.

As I predicted before the show, no performance from past idols. But what about all the wild card drama! So glad we got to know the wild cards right then. Now what about the picks...well here comes the controversies!

• Von Smith. For me this was one of the biggest Wild Card surprises. He does have potential but his last several performances have been off the mark. Again, I do not think he is ready for this competition yet.
• Jasmine Murray. She does have the ability "to just kill" the judges. Definitely talented. Song choice

Last week most of the My Idol community was in agreement on 1 thing....that Anoop should be a Wild Card.

There was also a lot of support (and for a good reason) in bringing Rickey back as well from the first group.

Heck, maybe Tatiana should even be given another chance (dude - she can sing!)

This week, I think we can add Matt Giraud to the list of Wild Card MUSTs.

His performance was pretty impressive and we all saw what he can really do back in Hollywood.

And next week the talent seems to be just as good, if not better, than this past weeks. With several contestants "in it to win it." Can't wait to see how things play out this upcoming week!
