I can not figure out how, on literally any planet, Spice or Katy Perry can be perceived as being able to judge anything. Neither of these women have an ounce of talent. Katy Perry is absolutely horrible, she makes Brittany Spears look like she can sing. Posh? really? Posh...what idiot came up with these two? I don't care whether Paula is there or not, frankly, I Tivo Idol and ALWAYS fast forward through Paula's comments, but to choose these other ladies, please. I'm not a Paula fan, but this is an insult to her!

You have to be joking. The American people got it right. The teenagers were voting for Adam so it makes it even more right that Kris won fairly and squarely. Shame on you for trying to spoil Kris's win.

Once again, the American public has been forced to accept dishonesty as "it was a couple people with a couple phones." Matters not, it should not have happened. I find it hard to believe that all the professed clean cut, christian, family loving people in Arkansas would let this ride. Kris Allen has a pretty good voice but apparently has no integrity. The first words out of his very own mouth once being announced the winner was "it should have been Adam." He is absolutely right about that. Adam Lambert will be synonymous with American Idol for life. He has shown what a class act he is. I hope Kris can find something other than torn jeans and a teeshirt when he is on tour. Oh by the way, for those that don't know, screaming is what one normally hears in rock music. He certainly didn't scream in his slow songs. Needless to say I am appauled that the screaming, meaney baby teen girls play such a large role in the voting procedure. Kris followers have shown why the American public doesn't need to be in on the vote other than to make A T & T rich. The judges should decide. They are in the entertainment world and they know what makes a good performer. If they don't like what the judges have to say, turn the channel. After all, this was supposed to be a singing contest not a groupie party. American Idol viewers should be ashamed to let this young man be slammed like he was. It's also a shame that the show allowed them to save someone this season yet in the realm of things, they let the big one get away. Adam we will be seeing you in bigger and better things and are so proud of the way you maintained your integrity and class.

If Kris did win by voter fraud ie: AT&T computer voting, what a shallow victory for him.

I thought it was very insulting to the show and to Kris Allen when Simon continued to sit while the other Judges stood for Kris when he won.He could have showed respect to this young guy who worked very hard to get that win. Paula is still my favorite Judge because she is warm, encouraging and supportive to these young contestants,
there is no need to insult or embarass
them. When these young men & women return to
their families and schools they do need to carry Simon's cruel remarks with them.Would love to see Jamie Foxx as a Judge, I think he was great with the contestants and I'm looking forward to that duet he wants to do with Kris.

For me, Adam was too much "Queen/"Kiss" style,not versatile enough. All his songs sounded the
same. My fav performance was "Tracks Of My Tears", showed that
Adam could have a different sound. Adam would be great on Broadway with his range and theatrics.
Looking forward to a duet with Kris and Jamie Foxx, who should by the way, be an Idol Judge!

Yes I agree...ADAM ROCKS. I also think there is not a reality show on that doesn't have some agenda...and some time the agenda backfires. Does anyone think Taylor Hicks (as good as he is and was) was Simon Cowell's pick last season? I don't think so' Show rigged??? consider this.... Adam was a phenomenal talent that will go far. If the competition was only based on pure singing talent...Adam wins hands down. But he didn't........again things happened (like the Adam Lambert name on the back of a celebrity singer or Simon Cowell's leanings)to cause home folk to care. And people from Conway, Arkansas and especially the students at Univ of Central Arkansas voted their mind. A massive number of college students voting for a friend and fellow student. Yes, more than 38,000,000 votes out of Arkansas. Also this vote did not have a "electoral college" like politics. In other words, one home state could and did dominate the voting. Where was the San Diego hometown vote for Adam? And, yes, I was a Kris Allen fan. Until you limit the number of times a person can cast a vote, the dark horse backed by a rabid group of fans will always win. Good luck to all the contestants. In my opinion any of the top 4 were better than most of the winners that went before them.
Also think of the other reality shows. Would Joan Rivers have won if America was voting on Celebrity Apprentice. Of course not. Annie Duke would have won hands down. If Donald Trump was running American Idol he would have told Kris..."You're fired!".
Or if the jury voted (like Survivor) the rejected singers would have probably gone with the best voice and stage presence.
My congratulations go out to all the final contestants, who were all great.
And for those who say they will never watch "American Idol" again, I say....your TV probably has multiple channels. You should choose one you enjoy instead of whining over the triviality og a single reality show.

I'm done with this show. Seldom does America get it right, and this year is no exception. Seriously, Kris beats out a talent like Adam? Kris is going to fade into the sunset like so many other winners before him, I guarantee it. I was going to the concert, but not now. Adam you were ROBBED!!!

I believe Adam should have won this year. Although Kris is good he forgot the words to the the last song last night and was never very constistant with his performances. Adam nailed it everytime he got up there to perform. The one good thing is like the last few winners it will take Kris a while to make an album. By the time he gets around to it Adam will already be at the top of the charts. Just like Chris Doughtry. He is a good ARTIST and PERFORMER.
