Question: Who has influenced your personal musical style?
Answer: Carrie Underwood has been a major influence on my musical style because she has a sound to her music that has no limitations. I love how she is like a country pop-artist.
Question: Who is your favorite male artist and why?
Answer: I would probably have to say my favorite male artist at this time is Justin Bieber simply because he is a young artist in the business right now and he grew up with next to nothing yet, now he is so successful.
Question: Who is your favorite female artist and why?
Answer: Miranda Lambert is awesome! She is definitely my favorite female artist. She is so true to who she is and absolutely beautiful.
Question: What was the first concert you attended?
Answer: My first concert was Sugarland in Chattanooga, TN. It was such an amazing experience.
Question: If you could perform in any venue in the world, where would that be? Why?
Answer: I would love to perform at the Grand Ole Opry because all successful country singers are blessed with thtat opportunity.
Question: How has music inspired you?
Answer: It has inspired me to express who I am to millions or people.
Question: Do you have any formal singing training?
Answer: No.
Question: What album would your friends be surprised you own?
Answer: Nothing in my musical selection would be surprising because I listen to everything.
Question: If you could perform with any person or group, who would it be and why?
Answer: I would perform with Aerosmith because Steven Tyler is extremely talented and a cool person!
Question: What do you do to unwind after a performance?
Answer: I don't really have to unwind after a performance because all of my built up emotions come out during my performance.
Question: Which theme week would be most challenging to you and why?
Answer: The theme week I would most struggle with would be when I have to sing a song from the year I was born.
Question: What theme week would you love to have for Season 10?
Answer: I'm super excited about Motown.
Question: What’s your dream song to perform?
Answer: I already got to sing with Steven Tyler and I can't think of anything more special to sing.
Question: What makes a great performer?
Answer: A great peformer is someone wh9o sings from their heart and someone who connects to their audience.
Question: How do you combat stage fright?
Answer: I pray before I go on stage that God will annoint my voice and all of my fears fade away.
Question: How do you plan on differentiating yourself in the competition?
Answer: I'm different because I'm the only female vocalist that is country.
Question: If you could model your career after an artist, who would it be and why?
Answer: I would model my career after Carrie Underwood because she won the competition that I'm in and she is the most successful person to come out of this copetition.
Question: If you couldn’t sing, what other talent would you most like to have?
Answer: I would have loved to be a dancer if I couldn't sing. However, I wasn't born with that natural ability. Haha!
Question: What has been the most unique job/chore you’ve ever had?
Answer: I'm only 16, so I haven't had many jobs, but of the ones I've had the most unique one was working at Cici's Pizza.
Question: How would you define success in life?
Answer: Success in life would be doing whatever makes you happy and fullfilling and kliving up to your dreams.
Question: What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever seen or experienced??
Answer: I was cheering at a football game and there was a lot of people in the stands. When it was almost half time and it started raining. So when half time came around, the bleachers were really wet. I went up to talk to my friends mom and on the way down, I fell down every step!
Question: What’s your proudest moment in life outside of American Idol?
Answer: In eighth grade I was taking gymnastics and I was awful. Everyone on my cheerleading squad was advanced in tumbling and I couldn't even get a backhandspring. However, I never gave up and I finally got my backhandspring.
Question: What would people be surprised to learn about you?
Answer: Since I was in the 6th grade, I've insisted the special ed room at some point everyday. I have some natural connection with those kids. I would do absolutely anything for them.
Question: If you have 24 hours to do anything you wanted, what would you do?
Answer: If I had 24 hours to do anything, I would get my friends and family together and take a vacation to anywhere in **. We could escape the rest of the world for alittle while and life would be about what we wanted to do.
Question: Who is the person that you would most like to meet?
Answer: This is going to sound crazy, but I would love to meet Justin Bieber just because he is a young artist who is very successful. I don't have "Bieber fever," but he is very cute! He is the same age as me and he had to struggle before he became famous and I thik he would be great to talk to.
Question: Do you have a favorite quote, phrase or personal motto / words to live by?
Answer: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Question: What’s been the most surprising part of the Idol experience so far?
Answer: I didn't expect to meet so many amazing people throughout this whole experience.
Question: What have you learned about yourself by going through the Idol audition process?
Answer: I have learned that I have a LOT to learn about being a true artist and it's not all fun and games and you have to work very hard.
Question: What are you hoping to get out of your Idol experience?
Answer: I'm hoping to become a polished artist! I hope to have a great career ahead of me.
