On the flip side of the coin, you have people like Matt Rogers who was a mediocre singer, but got lucky enough to be placed in a group where 5 out of the remaining 7 contestants were worse than he was. NYChica, you are soooo right! Also, some contestants make the TOP 12 early and then we don't see them for awhile. TPTB have already made the plans, so they aren't about to change it. The TOP 24 format was really good! I believe that last year there would have been 7 guys and 5 girls that would have been in the TOP 12. This may happen this year. What the World needs now is love, sweet love. No, not just for some, but for everyone.

crazycoolgirl Posts: 21	I'm (mostly) looking forward to the changes. I wasn't watching AI when it originally had the wild card and the 36 semi-finalists, so that should be interesting to see how that plays out. But, I'm still not sure that I'm going to like the newest judge.
