Wow, I must be extremely dim tonight, I'm still not getting it. How does a 4th judge connect to voting? I'm sorry, I'll just let it go if my incompetence is getting annoying.

I would think that fourth judge would possibly balance out some of the favoritism or unfavoritism we saw last season. Maybe knock Simon's effectiveness on the viewers down a little.

The ONLY thing about a 4th judge is .. what do they do if its 2-2... who breaks the tie? LOL

Simon does (though it should be Ryan, in my opinion)

Overall, Ryan has been consistent and a GOOD host. I hope he keeps his sense of humor but doesn't get into too much cross talking with Simon. With 4 judges, there will be less time for filler and fluff!! Anyone remember when Ryan laid next to Taylot Hicks on the floor, laughing it up? My favorite FUNNY moment on the show!
What the World needs now is love, sweet love. No, not just for some, but for everyone.

I do remember that. One of my favorites is after Chikeze sang "She's a Woman" and Ryan jumped around with him after..he was so excited..and Ryan just pumped him up more. Very cute!!

Another classic Ryan moment was when Matt Rogers made the top 12 and he and Ryan chest bumped each other One thing that does confuse me is that if there are 4 judges and 3 wildcard picks, then which judge gets the unlucky decision of having his/her favorite not make the top 12?

Me too! As annoying as Paula could get, I thought that group of judges is what made the show. I don't like having another one, and I really don't like the part where she demonstrates by singing it. It's just going to take up time. Ugh. The rest sounds ok to me. |
