Another classic Ryan moment was when Matt Rogers made the top 12 and he and Ryan chest bumped each otherTongue out

One thing that does confuse me is that if there are 4 judges and 3 wildcard picks, then which judge gets the unlucky decision of having his/her favorite not make the top 12?

Paula maybe?? I love her positive attitude but she takes it overboard sometimes.  And then every now and then gets plain catty.  Like last year when Brooke forgot the words on "ALW Night."  She'd been all syrupy sweet in weeks prior but that week she forgot her rum or something!!!

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world!!!

well i guess we will see, but so far the new judge thing is still bothering me.

Me too!  As annoying as Paula could get, I thought that group of judges is what made the show.  I don't like having another one, and I really don't like the part where she demonstrates by singing it.  It's just going to take up time.  Ugh.

The rest sounds ok to me.

Aw, c'mon, y'all need to give her a break.  If she's got tons of people who hate her before she even makes it on to television, there's no way she can win.  If she's willing to actually help the contestants improve, (which she is) at least give her a chance.  Open minds are always necessary when change is involved.

Oh yes, the Chikeze moment, and the Matt Rodgers' moment were priceless.

Again, I like the idea of having Kara judge.  It will be so nice if she is fair and honest and doesn't go overboard in praise of her favorite contestent.

What the World needs now is love, sweet love.  No, not just for some, but for everyone.

Is she though? Or is she just trying to get on one of the most popular reality shows ever?

Love Ellen, but i will not support Idol without Paula!

Like The Top 24 To 36 Change To A Certain Extent, During Many Of The Seasons, Sadly Many Better, Potentially Talents Got Cut, While Not So Good Ones Made It Through!!! I Just Hope That The Best 12 Of The 36 Make It Through To The Top 12, By The Voters & Judges !!! Just Like In Seasons Past ,( When Contestants Were Placed In Groups), It's Sometimes Disappointing Especially When Too Many Strong Contestants Are Thrown Into The Same Competition Group. While Not So Strong Contestants Can Make-Up The Highest Majority In Another Competition Group!!!  With Only 3 Contestants In Each Of The Groups, Allowed To Become Members Of The Top 12, I Just Hope Thre Is A Fair-Balance Of  The Strong & Not So Strong In Each Of The Competitive Groups &  I Hope As The Competitive Phase Of The Competition Starts From 36 & Concludes To 12 That All Top 12 Members This Season Are All Equally Strong Vocally & Performance Wise, In The Most Part At Least !!!  May The Strongest Ones Survive !!! That Would Surely Make An Ideal,  Potentially Superb Season Of Idol !!! Please Let This Be The BEST Season Ever, With The 12 Best Talents Advancing Into The Top 12 Finally This Season !!! Strong Contenders In The Competion, Make For A  More Exciting Season !!!

It's Halloween Time, May Your Haloween Be Both Safe & Happy M.I.T.s  Gokey Gang Friends !!! Now We Can Share Our Holiday Season & During, Next !!! Be Careful Halloween Night!

only thing i feel uncomfortable about is that the number of men and women in the final 12 may be uneven considering that three people go through each group, one male one female and one other that had a high number of votes.

So if there's a group with 3 fantastic females and no good males, we should still have to put through one of the awful males and send at least one of the girls home?

I've always hated the chromosome lottery deciding who stays and who goes. I want the best 10 contestants in the top 10, not the best 5 of each gender.

The ONLY thing about a 4th judge is .. what do they do if its 2-2... who breaks the tie? LOL

Simon does (though it should be Ryan, in my opinion)

Actually, it's Ken Warwick.

In things like Auditions, It took a majority decision to knock someone out. A tie meant you were through, no tiebreaker needed.
In things like the top 36, it's more complicated but it's still unlikely there'd be a tie. But if there was one, Ken would be the one with the deciding vote.
Past that, the judges don't get a vote so it doesn't matter.

Is she though? Or is she just trying to get on one of the most popular reality shows ever?

It's not like she showed up and said "I'M JOINING THE SHOW!!!" and they said "Um. Ok."
She didn't try to get on the show. She was asked to be on it.

Cool I think "the auditions" are  the realest part of the show considering it's a "reality show", which I love. (That's what sucks me in.....) Then it goes LIVE! I really fell in love with the Judges and the contestants last year, I still think that David Cook is the Epitome of Chris Daughtery. I hope this year everyone votes with passion and when they're watching the final 12 especially, Close your eyes and listen. Looks aren't everything by anymeans, this is "American Idol" you have to be unique. Copy cats can be made everyday. Not that David Cook isn't dag um Good! But please close your eyes and listen while they're singing....write down the names of your faves so you can post them on here AND so you don't forget them when it's time to VOTE, when you get my age you forget names within 5 minutes, not to mention numbers. OMG, I'm soooo excited, I just can't hide it! ***singing**** Kiss

I agree with u totally. Closing your eyes and listen. I ask myself then, do they sound like something I would hear on the radio. Of course though, we dont all like the same kind of music. But, if someone can take a style of music I dont like and still sound good, thats talent.

You learn to like someone when you found out what makes them laugh, but you can never truly love someone until you find out what makes them cry.

That is the problem Sam.. too many people HATE change so much they aren't willing to give something new a chance.  The very fact that it is different then what they are used to makes it "Bad".

I am excited to see what Kara will bring to the table.
