I just feel after watching last night's show, that something would be missing if Jorge didn't advance in this competition. He would be fun to watch move forward.

LOL I am pretty willing to stake money on the fact that HE WILL move on to the top 12....IF by some ODD reason he was NOT picked by calls to round out the top 9... I am 100% sure judges can and WILL call him in for a shot at the WC.. he's been an early favorite out of the gate so I can't imagine he wont be now..esp after his performance lastnight.. |

I have been saying this for weeks. Especially after last night's performance, to think that we won't have anymore of those if Jorge doesn't make top 12 is really unfortunate. Now there's a guy who deserves to make it to the finals at the (Kodak Theater? They seem to change the venue a lot so I never remember

Agreed! He was great last night. I'd love to see him sing a song partially in Spanish too. Would that be an Idol first? |

Two years ago, Sanjaya sang "Besame Mucho," but I don't remember if he's the first person to use Spanish in his performances. Perhaps during Latin Theme night on other seasons the contestants may have done the same.

Ah true... by Sanjaya's Spanish accent was terrible. It'd be cool to get someone who speaks Spanish fluently to sing in Spanish. ;) That way he can fill it with passion because he isn't focusing on pronouncing the words right. |

I'm a huge Danny fan but Jorge was my favorite last night and if he kept up the amazing spirit and beautiful singing, could easily become my favorite of the entire competition. When Ryan was giving out the number and he quietly said, "vote for me!!" with the tears coming down his face... it was too much. I love that little guy. |

I agree! I think he's so loveable and super talented. Paula was beaming! Also, when Paula asked him to talk so she could hear his accent, and he said that he didn't think he had an accent, that was really sweet.
