her studio version of "for once in my life" is actually pretty good. 100x better than the preformance. i think she has one of the best recording voices of the top 9, next to matt.

I have noticed that all of her studio recordings are much better vocally than her live performances have been. The live performances still have the edge when it comes to excitement and energy though. I have also noticed she doesn't wear ear monitors on stage. It's a wonder she can hear herself at all without them. She really should wear them from now on. The difference could be like night and day. |

Her live performance was pretty bad, but I was delighted by how much better the studio version is. Not a huge fan of the song itself, but the studio track was pretty solid. |

She could be good, I honestly like her, but some of the others also sound great on Studio recordings For example Matt, Adam and Anoop

I only picked up Megan's and Scotts, so I can't compare but I'm thinking about picking up Anoop's. Both Megan and Scott's studio recordings were considerably better than the live performances -- but isn't that the way live performances often are. Sometimes I like to go to concerts just to hear the rawness of a band or performer. Maybe that's why I tune into this show too. Although, I did listen to the "preview" of Adam, Matt, an Anoop. I loved Adam's live performance, as well as Anoop's live performance. For some reaon, I'm not feeling Matt, and I'm gonna give him some real attention next Tuesday to figure out why because I've reviewed his interviews etc.

It's pretty strange having so many guys at this point in the competition. There's been a couple of performances that I've found really impressive. The studio versions are usually more refined, but it's that rawness that makes some of the live performances simply outstanding.
