When Scott said, "I wanted to show versatility before I go home," I got teary-eyed.  He has such a good outlook on life.  He realizes he could go home, but wasn't down or upset about it, but kept a positive perspective.  I'm sorry the judges had to be so harsh. He definitely didn't deserve it.

I SOOO agree!!!  with your tears and your comments.   SO hoping Scott will stay another week or two.  He deserves to be there!

I cried during his performance because I loved it, I cried after his performance because the judges were tearing him down, but most of all I cried when Scott talked about going home. I'm just a big, blubbery mess.

But I have to say-sorry, Scott, but we're not letting you off the hook. Not now, not ever. You ARE STAYING!!!!!!!! And you're going to win.

No music I had ever heard had made colors and scenes come alive in the way that Scott's piano-playing had. Like little squirrels, the music hopped and danced about the room. The music was alive.

I'm with all of you - when he said he wanted to show his versatility before he went home, I cried. I was more upset than he was. He really did not deserve the judges' comments. He was fantastic. According to dial i dol, he is third from last, with Kris being in last place. Of course, there is margin for error. I just hope my two hours of voting along with all his other fans was enough to keep him there.

I just re-watched Scott's comment, and I didn't think he thought he was going home this week, but that he knew he wasn't going to be the winner of AI (which realistically at least 5 of the contestants have to know that).

Not knowing exactly when he would leave, this week or next or the following, I think this was a good week for him to take the risk and let his other side be seen.  Next week he can go back to the piano and nail a stellar performance, but he at least got this versatility done.  I think Scott played this one very smart, and I applaud him for it.

Here! Here! Beautiful Somehow!

I am here in full agreement!

I know how you felt! I felt beat up too when the music played and he was not yet finished talking.  I just muttered, "my dear Scott."

KS, my heart was really broken last night!  So sorry I was explosive when I got to the forum this morning.  I just hurt for him! I guess he is braver than I.

I 'commend you KS; you were just so cool.  You shook me out of making a fool of myself!  Thanks!

I agree,I was so proud of Scott. He is the kind of role model that I want for my grandchildren...I was really let down with AI but that OK.Scott will survive .He is a winner.

Teary-eyed for me to see Scott go.  What an inspirational talented guy.  He will do well with his career.  So sad the judges did not see that they should have kept him.  Cry
