I am going to add my 2 cents about 2 things here. The first is this..having one of the judges write the finale song for the contestants is just wrong when she has blatantly not been able to judge fairly all season long. She would automatically write a song with her favorite in mind...anyone would, that is just human nature.

The second is this.....in my opinion the difference between Kris singing a song and Adam singing a song is, Kris will look at a song figure out how he can tweek it to make it suit him and his style better and then sing an amazing song.   Adam will look at a song and figure out how he can possibly out perform the song. Plain and simple.

Kris is there for the music and Adam is there for the attention.

First Song:

Adam and Kris played to their strengths.  They both did very well.   With two flawless performances, it would have been hard to pick the better one.   Adam was a bit too theatrical for what I'd have wanted to see done with that song.  Kris played it even better, more in his element.  Kris won this round.

Second song:

Adam was too high.  Kris was too "low".   When Adam started squealing, I turned the tv down.  With Kris, he almost lost me.  Again, two good performances overall.  Only reason I think Adam wins this round is because I remember it a little better (not necessarily for the right reason). 

Third song:

Both contestants lose.  The audience loses.  The songwriting was horrific & is the seasons' biggest disappointment.  I do agree Danny could have done this song but honestly, I wouldn't wish it on him or anyone.    Kris contained it a little better than Adam overall but they both equally did what they could with such a terribly written song. No winner here. 

In Summary:

In my opinion, these two contestants play to two different strengths and both of them showed this tonight.  It is 50/50 all the way.   If I had to choose alone, I would choose Kris as the winner because he was more in sync with what I would listen to later on.  And it is close, because two of my favorite performances were done by Adam this season.  But as this season draws to its end, if it was a theater competition, Adam wins.  If it was a radio friendly competition, Kris wins.  Even though they are both talented and can have very successful careers. 

And I was more of an Allison fan so I am somewhat writing without a bias here.

nobody outsang anybody in that last song....that last song was ungodly that even angels won't sing it. it bears the mark of the forsaken and should not be listened to under any circumstance.

it even nullified adam's insane range....how could a song not be in adam's range.

it is the mark of the unholy...do not listen to it ever again...EVER!
