Kris was my pick from week one. I kept wondering why the judges couldn't see it like I did. They finally came around the last two weeks to notice that you are an American Idol. |

Welcome libralady! yep, same here...I liked Kris right from the beginning (along with 2 others)...I remember telling my daughter after the group 2 performances that I hoped Kris would make it through because I didn't think he'd get a wildcard spot if he didn't...Little did I know at the time what a journey this would be!

Kris and Ju'Not were my top picks from the T36...and of course, we know what happened to Ju'Not. There was something special about Kris from the very beginning...I thought he was a standout then...even though they buried him in the 3rd or 4th position way back when...no wonder he made it into the T12 easily...despite the grousing by complainers. Now a Kris-Ju'Not finale would have been my dream T2. Or a Kris/Matt, or Kris/Allison finale. |

The first week when Kris sang "Man in the Mirror" I was like "Whoa. That guy could definitely win the whole thing." From that point on he has been my number 1.

Hey other long time Kris fans! I was so excited when he got through after singing "man in the mirror". I thought he was a goner for sure, but there must have been others who recognized how amazing this guys could be! |

same here. he caught my attention when they were showing the dance clip introducing group 2 of the top 36. and then when he came out singing man in the mirror, i fell in love :] |

He was my fave from Man in the Mirror. Then he did Remember the Time... My thought was to enjoy him as long as I could because I thought since he was so understated that he probably wouldn't last long. And no pimping!!!! And LOL look here he is in the final. So there were many,many more just like me loving Kris. No matter what to me Kris is a Winner!!! |

My niece picked him from "Man in the Mirror". (I was a late comer, waking up to him when he did "How Sweet it is"). She's one of those tweens, LOL. But she said he did really good...not that he was hot or any of that junk. It's hard to do Michael Jackson, Michael being an icon and all. Most people who tackle Michael don't get good critiques. Anyway, my niece told me he was the best one. I was a little doubtful at that point (maybe something the judges said?). But I figured it out, and she was like "I told you so. I've always liked Kris the best." She doesn't even watch the show but votes for him like crazy. She just asks me for the number. Does anyone know where I can find the judges comments on his "Man in the Mirror" performance? I noticed most of the comments by the judges are just tiny clips, not the entire set of comments.
