Haha, I've been following Kris on his Idol journey as soon as my pastor told me that he made it to Hollywood! (Kris is a big part of our church, we're kind of proud of him, lol!) So yes, from having ZERO AIR TIME AT ALL prior to the top 13, it is SOOO AMAZING to see where this has brought him.

Yeah, I already voted for him since the semifinal as well. I remember one comments in famous AI blog said, "No white kid should attempt to sing a Michael Jackson song. And that applies to Michael Jackson himself these days!"

Should've had more screen time early on.
Been a fan since the audition, and him being part of the White Chocolate group in hollywood week. here's his performance with Matt G and India M and that Justin dude:

Wow, you go to a same church as he did? (I guess he probably has to move to CA and finds a new church now. Wonder if he sometimes will lead the worships in his new church). |

Danny and Kris are my fav. Thus I'm happy that Kris won the title eventually. |

Kris had my vote from the moment I heard "Man in the Mirror"!!! His quiet demeanor, yet confident style always kept him in the running...although the judges overlooked him with their desire for an Adam/Danny finale. I was happy to see that America agreed...Kris...continue to stay true to yourself...and I don't mean that in the way the judges do...simply that when you come onstage we can see and feel your heart, and believe every word you say. From you we do...I cannot wait to see what awaits us from Kris Allen... Just goes to show...you just have to believe! Good Luck to you...and |

What is a tween, anyway? They say my niece is too old to be a tween. She's in choir, in high school, and because they do a variety of songs is probably familiar with how hard it is to tackle Michael Jackson. Anyway, how OLD is a tween or between what ages? My family is arguing about it. Oh, yeah, I'm 47, so I can't be called a tween. |

He was my bet since the time he sang "Ain't no sunshine", only because that was the first time I've seen him perform and I loved it! From then on, I started watching AI religiously, and downloading his songs on itunes.
