that sound AMAZING in raw performances. There are many singers out there that sound great on the radio, but when they're performing live...not so much. Adam is a total exception. He's flawless! I love the studio versions of his songs, but I especially love the edge in his voice when he's performing. I can't wait to buy his CD, and I hope he'll be able to retain some of that edge in his songs.Glambert #1909 |

I'm with you all the way on this. His voice is a rare talent, and he's an awesome person as well. What more could we ask for? Okay, we want a whole lot more.
In the end, Love will conquer all.

From everything I've seen/heard, he's highly impressive in person, from a vocal stand point. Very rare! And you're right, a lot of really great singers don't sound as stunning once they leave the insular world of the studio... but from all accounts, Adam does.
Being such a rare vocal type also helps, since there aren't all that many countertenors running around. Combined with his dynamic personality and ability to affect any thing he sings makes him totally unique, even when standing shoulders against vocal greats.

I've thought the exact same thing.Even most of the guest stars that perfomed on American Idol sounded NOTHING like they do on the radio. But him, he sounds good live. It's amazing. He's amazing (:

I totally agree. I liked how he said he was going to do a fusion thing for his CD. |

I love him live on t.v. but I also love his studio versions. I even love a couple of his studio versions better than the live ones. He's a rare artist that can sound great both ways. Sounds like he sounds even better live in person - can't wait to hear him on the AI tour, then his cd and then his solo tour!!
