I think that they should use Daughtry's No Surprise for the send off this season. The words would fit perfectly ;) "It's no surprise I won't be here tomorrow
Daughtry are nominated for Best Rock Band at the PCA's, Best Adult Contemporary Artist at the AMA's, and will be performing at the CMA's! Daughtry Are still the Hottest Band in the country!

I think it's time to do away with the send-off song. Season's 1-4 did just fine without one. And this time, when Carrie sang "Home Sweet Home" live on the finale, several contestants went up to her and told her they hate that song, because it represents the fate every Idol finalist fears most. Not to mention that we viewers get sick of hearing it every week. The send-off song also cost us the original tradition of Paul Anka performing a new version of "My Way" at the end of the first night of the finale that recaps the entire season. I would like to see that come back.
Simon is the show; everyone else is just the supporting cast.
