And I think ur brother has been lurking for a while watching you-he finally couldn't let you go on your present course anymore and had to step in and attempt to set you straight. LCO Posts: 20	Can't wait for Danny to put out his very own album, I wish he would do a dvd with video, instead of just a Cd, or in addition to it. It'a a hassle to have to come here and click through hoops just to hear and see him. I like the studio sessions better, in most cases, but then you don't get to see his smiling face. Gotta get my Gokey fix for the day... starts things out RIGHT !!!

Even the haters during cellcast on Ricky's said he sounded good and **** (who has been a jerk too him all season) said he sounded either "incredible" or "awesome" The WHTM video up on tubey is excellent; everytime he sings that he gets better! I wasn't so sure about the country thing, but if he sings all country songs as beautifully and non-twangy as that, I'll buy them all, lol. Hope we can see his other songs recorded somewhere, don't know if I can wait until the end of August! Gokey Gang #989 "I love you from the bottom of my heart. dreamin2 Posts: 105	Danny Gokey's intro sets him up as some sort of Love Man, and he starts with one of his strongest songs from the season, Michael Jackson's P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing). He engages the crowd -- which never set down after Allison was done -- in a call-and-response, and they're right with him. The second song, Santana's Maria Maria, shows a side of Danny I had hoped he'd show during the season. Danny's wife, Sophia, loved Latin music, and I always suspected he had some of that rhythm in him. I don't know why it never came out during the season -- maybe the themes just didn't fall right for him -- but it's nice to see it come out here. And -- surprise, surprise -- he whips off his jacket and proceeds to show that he's been working on his dancing. He's no Ricky Martin, but he doesn't look hapless like he occasionally did on the show. And the audience eats it up. Always good to reward someone who's clearly put in some effort.
