Orlando auditions are next week!! My plan is to get there about 2:30am - 3:00am Tuesday morning with the rest of the idol obsessed people so I can be in one of the first few sections to go. I would rather wait a few hours to register than 12 hours the day of auditions. At least if they tell me no it will be early enough to get home with some time to relax lol
I am pretty excited.. Ya.. I am a dreamer and the odds are against me but just having the chance to be apart of a competition like this is super exciting for me! I am 26 and if Idol goes the next few years I still have a shot.. but I think this would be a pretty cool year to reach for my goals and dreams! If I get passed over I am not going to let it stop me.. I will continue to improve myself and find a way to keep singing apart of my life even if it just a church or collage choir!
I guess you never know what they are looking for.. I guess it depends on the producer you audition for.. some say it is rigged but I don't think so.. In the end it is a TV show.. They may pass over good talent but I can understand they are looking for many different things, the great, bad and ugly since they need people to keep watching the show.
I have a lot of places I can improve with my singing and performing.. and I hope I get lucky enough to make it on the show.. I know I have the voice I just need to learn how to sing pop. Give me an opera song anyday and I can nail it but pop singing is totally different and forces you to use your voice in new way.
What I really want is to make it to the top 10 and be able to do the idol tour! I love to travel and statge production so I would be in my element! I would also love to be apart of the theme weeks where they get to work with an artist that has been in the business for awhile..
Ya.. I am thinking ahead and might be a little silly since there is a LONG way to go but I need something to reach for right?
;)
