I loved Adam singing Beth. I listened to Kiss sing it and Adam did put them to shame. I also think Gene is jealous. He likes the spotlight on himself and only him.I don't think that sounds right. Oh well it's 3 am. I should go to bed.

Found your comment on my blog most informative and interesting. I wonder too how much of the underdog Adam was, despite being or seeming the favourite? I could appreciate him actually but my point was that it was very hard to get beyond the hype and it did feel to me that Simon in particular was critiquing him differently from his usual fashion. If you saw Simon in the UK over the years you would see what I mean, but here American audiences only see what he does on Idol. He is able to switch opinion and be controversial for the sake of it. It is all a fascinating process.

Many thanks for posting a comment on my blog, I really appreciate it! The messages are in a thread on Adam's board called "Adam's Star Power from an industry perspective" and you're welcome to join us there if you haven't seen it. Here's to Adam as our next American Idol on Wednesday and thanks again! Best, Michael

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Problem is, the measures made in desperation are usually counterproductive.

I also figured out why those in the Eastern and Central time zones have so many problems in voting...they are both voting at the same time. Those two time zones are almost 2/3's of the geographical US and have some of the largest cities.

After Eastern/Central 2 hours are completed, the Mountain zone(with AZ) comes on board for a hour...then Pacific chimes in (with Alaska..population no-body)...sharing with Mountain for the hour. Mountain time zone is shut down and Pacific Plus Population No-body has the 2nd hour solo.

Hawaii is way way behind but then they vote.

Mountain/Pacific and Hawaii are all taped..we do not see the show "live."

    Make any sense?

Being I am in the Pacific time zone, the first hour of voting gets the busy signals, overloaded circuits, dropped calls, etc. but the 2nd hour it is free sailing. My family in Arizona say the same thing only opposite...their first hour is free sailing..with the 2nd having the problems.

Thanks for the great comment! I loved your take on all of the contestants and I agree that both Adam and Danny did have to struggle a bit more than the others in terms of public scrutiny. I think that is what makes Kris's rise to the top so surprising. I was surprised, wondering who the heck he was to be honest with you. I just hope that Adam gets what he deserves and that is the Idol title. Thanks again!
