Danny Gokey reportedly had preliminary talks in Tenn. with two labels, Word, a Christian label and Sony Nashville. Word's CEO works with Underwood and Rascal Flatts.  Danny reportedly told the CEO that he may not want to sign with a Christian label so that he doesn't "exclude anyone".  Who he ends up signing with apparently may determine what type of music he puts out.

Although the 1st concert and its subsequent bloggers' reports hasn't started yet today, rumor from run throughs, is that it is a more "contemporary" concert feel than last years which was more rock/arena type feel?  Not sure what that means guys.  I think it may have to do with the music selected and being performed which is more of what is heard nowadays on the radio.  Reports of Adam and Allison's hair really showing off their added and more intensified dye colors of blue for Adam, and "rainbow"for Allison. 

MJ's memorial will have Jennifer Hudson performing and CNN will do a live feed.  Other news stations will probably follow suit.  To me, unfortunately this memorial poses a huge security and financial mess for an already bankrupt state. But he was one of the last worldwide stars and icons.  I totally acknowledge the mixed feelings people have of MJ's personal and professional life.  I assume a lot of things may come out and this will go on for some time and be at times like a soap opera.  Most unfortunate is that there are 3 innocent children hanging in the balance while some may throw their hats into the legal arena to put in a claim for custody, for all the wrong reasons; money.  Let's hope things work out best for those kids.  Everyone have a great 4th of July weekend and pray for our brave men and women.
