Idol Gives Back was back for the first time in two years. Some of the biggest music superstars, comedians, actors, and former Idols came out to show their support and to talk about the importance of giving back. The night kicked off with a message from the President and First Lady. Randy has rubbed off on President Obama, who referred to the finalists as his dawgs. Ryan Seacrest hosted the show on the usual Idol stage, and Queen Latifah co-hosted the show from a second venue in Pasadena. With all of these bands and musicians coming out to perform, it made it easier to set-up and take down and change out the equipment.
