I love your diversity and confidence I have never heard a raspy soulful voice like yours it is awesome and unique. I have been a fan of yours ever since your audition when I remembered you as the girl with the bright smile. You were born to do this I will always be a fan of yours and will buy every cd and attend concerts. Never stop being you! Haley is good, but she was not the best there ever was.(I know everyone has their own opinion). And she is definitely not "The True American Idol". The true American Idol is the one that 'America' idolizes and votes for. A true american Idol would have at least made it to the finals. I know a lot of people love Haley but let's face it there are definitely more 'country' fans than Haley fans in 'America'. That's why Lauren and Scotty are in the Finals. I predicted Scotty in the top 2. I'm proud of Haley fans for not crying and whining so much, at least not here.

Haley had talent, but her personality left a lot to be desired. Lauren is a total SWEET HEART with talent, same with Scotty, they are both humble people. Haley is NOT. America chose wisely. I wish her luck, she certainly has a music career ahead of her.

First of all why don't you HATERS all go away and stop contaminating with your negativity! You don't respect other people's opinions. Out of all the postings it is the Haters that bash Haley with rude and disrespectful comments which you do not see from Haley supporters, we are a different class clearly. It is fine to have a different opinion but you don't have to be abusive and disrespectful to differing opinions. We are in fun supporting our favorites, lighten up and show respect to others! Haley - Australia loves your talent. You are unique in so many ways - and that's why you will be successful. We enjoyed ALL of your performances - thank you.
The choices made for you weren't the best - they let you down by picking old songs which didn't fit you.
We are not going to enjoy watching the final as much as if you had been there.
We saw your disappointment - but heck who wouldn't be.. please keep going - we want to see you perform in Australia one day,

Haley, I don't know if you read these comments and I don't watch this idol crap, but you blew me away.. i saw a link to one of your videos and watched it because I thought you were pretty, but you got soul and can really sing. I watched all your performances and you're awesome. This isn't my genre for music but if you put out some albums they would definitely sell.

I don't understand all the comments about Haley's attitude, I did not see a bad attitude at all. I saw a young lady who knows who she is, and what kind of artist she is. She took comments from the judges better than most, and took from them what she needed. The judges are just like the rest of us, they have opionions based on what they think, doesn't always make them right. I have been singing my whole life, and even though I may not prefer certain types of music, I do recognize talent when I see it. That is what this show is supposed to be about TALENT. Haley is extremely talented, confident in who she is and what she wants to do. Some of you call it arrogance I believe it is knowing who you are and not letting people tell you who you should be.
The other thing I find ironic about this season is that the song selections were much easier on the "counrtry" contestants than they have been in the past. In other seasons the theme's were diverse and presented challenges to any contestant that was a country singer, not so this year. Dont get me wrong I think Scotty is awesome and I like country music just find it interesting. Lauren is a very talented young woman, but the reality is she is not confident in who she is or her talent.
When it comes to the talent, showmanship and overall performer, James, Casey, and Haley should have been the top three.

Not that anyone really cares, but I will not be watching American Idol anymore. Sending Haley home was the most ridiculous. She, by far, was the best. So, goodbye American Idol and you hand in there Haley! God gave you a great voice and you'll go far.

Haley's degree of difficulty and guts was so much greater in her songs and she absolutely nailed them. To me she was at a level way above Scotty. He's a good perfomer, but any good karaoke singer could sing his songs. I like Lauren but she has a beautiful tone to her voice, but she's young and raw as a performer. To Haley (and all the final 4) I would say hey you're a winner.... this AI thing is crazy and at times unfair, but if you turn it around.... there are millions of singers/actors/wannabes who would give anything to be on the no.1 show even once. You sang your guts ou,t and millions of people loved it. I would put on a charity concert with your dad's band...imagine just rocking it out, 10,000 people donating $20 for breast cancer or something...it would just launch your career too!!!

haley...haley...haley...haley....you are one great idol! i cant wait for your album! i can't wait for your solo concert! i can'y wait for you! i hope i can hear you live, meet and greet you personally, and...whew....be blown away by you on the stage. i've watched you since day 1 and wow.....i was alwaYS blown away. great talent, so please go on!

Haley, great voice! But there's something fake about her. Something did not come together for her. Her niceness felt disingenuous, put on. I think that in reality she is not a very nice person, she was trying to hide that. When she sang a song (great voice) but was not connected with her body, most of the time it felt like she did not know what she was singing about. Vocally and emotionally disconnected. I had a hard time looking at her, again great voice, you know, it just hit me, she has the little princess syndrome. Advice to Haley: 1st sing the song (know what your singing about) and don't try to perform, just sing the song and let it affect you, the performance will come, but it will be connected to the song. Stop trying to perform and be cute, be a woman, not a little girl playing a singer. You should of won, but you didn't because the people felt it, something was not right, they made not have known what it was, but they felt it. You need to stop the nice little girl act. The false speaking voice, the fake appreciation, the arrogance that's peeking through. It has no truth and it carries over to the singing.
