I am mostly happy with the final 24, but I hate it that Medina didn't get in. I had heard that this time, they would pick the BEST singers regardless of gender. What a disappointment to find that we're back to 12 guys and 12 girls. This is a shame, because there were more guys who excelled and should have been in the 24. What the heck is the reasoning behind insisting that there be 12 of each sex, regardless of talent? Some of the guys who didn't make it through were better singers than the girls and they should have been chosen. AI should be a singing contest and nothing else. That said, almost all my favorites made it. I think this will be the best season yet. The winner will be male. When they get down to the top 12, I'm sure every one of them will become a success.

seriously, Clint Jun Gamboa over Chris Medina and Jacee Badeaux?!?!? C'mon!!! This is my biggest disappointment so far! I'm not a Chris or Jacee fan, but hey, their voices are much better than the screamer Gamboa! And another screamer aka Adam Lambert II?!?!? talking about the producers' favorites huh?

Go Lauren Alaina!! You're the best!! I really really REALLY like the selection the judges made but I SO wanted Chris Medina there!! I'm anxious to see how Karen, Julie, Scotty, Paul (ADORE him), Naima and, of course, Lauren Alaina will do.

Thank you AI for putting the final 24 episode online since our station went off air at 9pm. We didn't get to see the last half. I liked this short version better than the 2 hour version. This is how it should've been shown, and add the solo performances to fill the 2 hours. Although I was upset last night about missing the last hour, now I am kind of glad. The short version online gets 5 stars.

I say NO to Jordan Dorsey and Clint Gamboa and YES to Jacee Badeaux and Colton Dixon. They got it wrong, bad wrong! I hope these two get their shot outside of Idol because they both deserve. Soooooo much better than some of the others that did make it.

I watch American Idol just to see what Steven Tyler is wearing. He wears gorgeous, crazy (in a good way) outfits. Could you guys post an article and tell us who are his outfits' designers?
