I will not watch Idol. A waste of true talent and my time . I cant watch another talented,gifted, person go down

I'm still in shock... She was the best singer in the competition... It's sad to see her go.

America you demonstrated to the world that discrimination still prevails in your nation. Common observation you booted out non full blooded americans from the competition!!! One thing you must accept, more non-american are much talented than you are...

OMG!!!!!!!!! I finally found someone that brought me back to watching Idol, now she's gone. They so wasted that 1 and only save!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This soooooo makes me not want to watch. I bet that the judges' are regretting now.

I was so surprised by the judges reactions....how do you think the others feel. This is competition....someone goes home each week. They know this when they start the process. I think this should be noted and not try to imply that the other contestants are not as good. American votes and they voted!!

I'm not from America but I've watched the show anyway and I have never actually got any touch on Pia. She is definitely a VERY good singer but it's just that something is missing. I got bored almost every time she performed, not because she couldn't sing, it was just a lack of interest. She just doesn't have the interesting personality like for an example Paul who's not nearly as good singer as Pia but he steps out with an interesting personality. Think what you like but American idol is a popularity contest and just a great voice doesn't reach all the watchers if you just stand there and smile.

Thought it was obvious! Pia sang an upbeat song therefore she was supposed to dance and own the stage!!!

Her vocal could be the best but she's boring, even when she sang an upbeat song. Personality is important and we can't compare her with Paul or Haley or Scotty. Pia is boring. I think America has made the right choice

Pia was my pick for the top 2 idol finalists. She needed a little extra on stage performance, but she sang like an angel, and wasn't this the top priority of the show, to sing???? She will no doubt be making hit after hit and I for one will be buying her cd's. Good job Pia.

The Judges fault. They needed to tell her how boring her and the other bottom two had became. She is a good singer, but I have good singers in my church. She didn't season, like the others have. Lauren you are one of my favs too, but you need to step it up some. CONTESTANTS DON'T LISTEN TO THE JUDGES. We need simon back and maybe pia wouldn't have went home so soon.

You know PIA though your eliminated but for me your still the best.... i really loved you ballad voice. America's did mistake to vote you out! You know i was really shock when i watched the video did't know that you and stefano were in the bottom two....so sad but don't think of that your will still shine......;-)

Hey Pia, all I can say is Chris Daughtry. I don't even remember who won that season but Chris is the shining star from that season! A wonderful success!

I agree with people who say that Pia was boring because she was. Thia and Pia were always standing in front of the mic and that's boring no matter how good their voices are because this is not Karaoke Idol. I also agree with people who say that some contestants are not listening to judges because they told Pia so many times to bring something else to the stage and she never did (well, at least she walked for a while in her last audition but that's not enough!) I think thee guys know now what America wants, and what America wants is a good voice mixed with entertainment and personality, not only a good voice which is the only thing that Pia had.

Im really not interested to watch more ,PIA is the best , she deserve to go on for next rounds!! . and one more thing i wanted to say for long ...i dont like Scotty for now , i admit his voice is not bad" country voice" , we expected something different little bit from his country voice but from the 1st time up to Top9 today hmmmm... all songs and every kind of music he sang always sound "country "there....REALLY BOREDDDD..........Honestly! . Some things are not congenital and also some boring things can be solved, like standing in front of a microphone.
I'M angry with this happend that PIA leave amirecan idol because she's deserves to continue much more than many of the other contestants and I'M NOT INTERESTED IN WATCHING THE SHOW and all of us say American idol musn't just let the voters.

When every judge thinks every singer is amazing, how can you be surprised when anyone goes home? If Jennifer, Randy or Steven think someone else should go home, then they need to say they sucked during the show. It's their own fault.

It's not rocket science, folks. Randy, J Lo, and Steve Tyler blew it when they used the save too early in the show. We knew they wasted it on someone who didn't have the full idol package. Perhaps someone should explain to Randy (again), J Lo, and Steve Tyler that this is American Idol. It's not just a singing contest. We're here to promote and launch a successful career of an idol who can sell lots and lots and lots of records...It's business...Look at the record sales of the last seven or eight idols. It's gone downhill with exception to Carrie Underwood.

Very dissapointed, i am really considering not watching the show anymore, Pia was and is one of the best. Beside jacob who is very talented, i have no interest in watching the show. Please check the votes, something is wrong.

Pia has a beautiful voice and she is an amazing singer. Everyone did a great job Wednesday though. Pia is more Miss America Pageant talent portion singer, and not someone I would go to see in concert with the songs she chose to date. Someone had to go home..................

I agree with matins you can't have the judges loving everyone and then being upset when someone is voted off. That is why I miss Simon at least he gave the contestants a goal to work toward which was his approval right or wrong he didn't love everyone that walked out on the stage.

JUDGES SCREWED UP by using the save WAY to early, he isn't the full package as she is.......way to go....don't blame america blame the judges choice in using the save....especially with all this talent.

We need to be clear.. Pia is a fantastic singer.. We need to vote... This was just like Jennifer Hudson.. Now look at her! The same will happen to Pia... We will see her with her CD soon. I will be the first to buy...

Maybe next week Jacob or scotty one of them goes home, who knows , really who knows AND AS Ryan Seacrest says ...THIS IS THE american IDOL.

PIA, you are in my heart and alot of others.......now the show has lost another total package and by far one of the best vocals....and of course beauty. Thanks JUDGES, again for using the save so early....!

If the Judges want to have their say in who stays and goes home, then they need to take control of the voting and take it away from fans who vote without any clue. many people vote because of looks, friends of and such. At least Simon told it like it was. Once in a while Randy speaks differently than the other two

Ryan, I hope you read some of these and make a comment or two about how America feels.......be nice to be heard and have the judges think about what they did. Lucky for us, we will see Pia again, she is talented and will as all of the top 9 have a carreer..... WE LOVE YOU PIA, and will miss your shining star on the show.

What is America thinking? It blows my mind that Paul McDonald is still in this competition. The guy has no voice but he stays week after week. And Pia with such a great voice goes home.

Wake up America.

It was a total shock last night with Pia being eliminated. The family all sat in an unbelieveable state. America Idol, wake up you just might have lost your rating for this package. Pia has a future and a great one and we will all be watching to see her again. So long American Idol show for this season for me!

I could not vote for Pia, i tried for 2 hours and if that's what happened in my case i"m sure it happened to thousands of others. They need to bring Pia back and if they do not bring pia back over their mistakes i'm done watching this show. It's nothing but a joke any more anyways. If simon was still around this would have never played out like this. I knew when they used the save too early that someone great would have to pay for it.

The biggest upset of the night were the judges... their reaction showed no respect to the other contestants especially to Estefano... lack of professionalism.

America you so got it wrong.. Shame on you if anyone should of left was stefano or jacob should of left not Pia. What are you listening to are you deaf or just not thinking.. Th judges made their save to early and for that Pia has paid the price. Shame on you America....

Yeah, I agree....that the judges total disbelief and anger was a TOTAL lack of appreciation for the other contestants. Would they have reacted that way if someone else was sent home? Truth is, Pia is fabulous. BUT the other contestants on Wed performed with serious grit and stage performance. Pia, again fabulous, seems to have the performance demeanor of a beauty pageant contestant. All polish, all poise...but when you rock out Tina Turner, you are expected to rock it out! The others simply connected with their song and performed better. Sorry, Pia.
