I have never watched American Idol-watched it this year start to finish cause I love Aerosmith-Steven Tyler-It was awesome -Scotty and James were my picks from day 1 (Scotty first) I just fell in love with Lauren last few weeks she is so amazing I love her inocense she is so much like Loretta Lynn and don't worry hunny- Loretta Lynn is a Country DIVA and she still doesn't know how good she is-I would love to see Scotty and Lauren do a duo like Loretta and Conway/Kenny and Dolly-a little remake of Louisianna woman mississippi or island in the stream-yep I think it would work think Country needs that and what an amazing couple to use- just sayin-Oh feel free to use my idea :)

I have to say, I loved the season. I always watch American Idol every year and yes I am very loyal and make sure I vote evert week but this year was so hard for me and my friends and family think I was a little obsessed. Here are just two samples of some of my facebook posts to explain why..
Now I lay me down to sleep, in my hand my cell I keep, hit the re-dial once again, Lauren and Scotty in the finals to WIN.

If you are having trouble hearing the sound on the videos, try holding down CTRL-0 (control key and the zero key) down at the same time. This will reset your screen size, and you should be able to hear the videos after that.

Ok I have searched and searched.....where in the heck can I watch the full episode????? I used to be able to watch the whole thing here until I started voting. Now I can't find anything but clips! I know who won but I still want to see the last two weeks.... someone.....please tell me where I can find the full episode??

i dont think that being a good singer and being humble and cuttie and very sentimental its enough to top2 on show who is supposed to be about real talent uniqueness power performing and the best singing habilities, good for scotty cause he have talent, but i dont think its fair that lauren is in top2.

As a seasoned musician of nearly 50 years now, I have to say that Scotty and Lauren are two of the biggest talents I've heard in a long time on AI, although I'm still a No. 1 fan of Crystal Bowersox. Scotty is an "old school" country singer with a great range. But he also "hears" and incorporates a lot of the modern vocal tricks of the day - which is why he is so appealing. His voice is deep and rich, but he can hit the medium-high notes as well with strength. And being humble never hurt anyone. Lauren is a great country singer, but I think she can cross over and appeal to more pop fans as well. She has great clarity, strength and a spot-on, solid falsetto. Wish they both could have won, but I'm glad for Scotty. Seems they want to "stay together" too, so maybe we'll get some more great duets from them like they did on AI - "I told you so" being my fav.

lauren is not great singer performer unique and versatyle as haley sorry but haley desserved that place..dont know what happened with america. but im sorry! equaly u will see haley and hear her talented voice. not as any pop singer also as she wanted to be as an artist

I agree with many of the comments, I still feel haley belonged up there, the top two, and the winner, she was so so Humble..despite all the comments she got fro the judges..sorry judges, but you guys really did a number on her, and for her career too! If you are going to give such detailed, critical feedback, to only ONE CONTESTANT it does show , and America does take it to heart..and also, what about coaching her a bit, if you have such deep critical feedback..except for Steve of course..I REALLY LOVE YOU DUDE..STEVE THAT IS..lol, ha, ha,
