Thia, it pains me to hear you crying at the backstage??? You are so young and an immensely bright future lies ahead with your beautiful voice. American Idol may not have given you the prize that you deserve, but you just won the hearts of a Filipino nation. No other American Idol contestant can take that away from you. We will wait for you to perform here in the Philippines and you will be surprised how much you will be admired and loved here beyond your wildest imagination???

I'm always excited every wednesday night because I will see you perform but now I have nothing to watch. It breaks my heart thinking next week your not on Ai anymore. We done our best to vote for you but it's not enough. Your young and very talented I wish God will give you another opportunity to show your talent to the world. I really hated to see you go Thia. I thought you was amazing and I was rooting for you from day 1. It's ok though because I know we'll still be hearing from you. There will be producers out there just waiting to snatch you up. You have true talent and you're gonna go far :) You're a beautiful girl and you seem to be so down to earth...don't change :)

She deserved to go. Initially I liked her, appreciated her story and wished her well. But she just lost it each week in - bad choices, bad presentation.

Though it's sad Thia is out in AI, we just knew it's not the end of her. She definitely has a big career ahead of her. Thia has brought back the Carpenter's style of singing & music, not shouting nor screaming at the top of one's lungs, just soothing music. Goodluck Thia!

I don't know if you actually read this crap we write. Most of us had you #1 or #2 in the competition. I think some just though you were a little young. You have TONS of talent - the question is - do you have the perseverance and drive to NOT GIVE UP!!!! You will be successful - you will make lots of money singing - so don't worry - Remember Daugherty - sometimes the best doesn't win. Wow!!! - and you are so beautiful......almost like an angel....

The results show was horrible. Not only did Thia NOT get a solo in her group performance, they didn???t even let her or Naima sing a last going-away song. Seriously? I have never seen that before. They pretty much took the performances away to make time for that Rio movie performance (which was pretty bad, btw). I???m all for being fair and equal, and not letting them sing was disrespectful???.and, to me, discriminatory.

Just goes to show what the producers are really after???ratings.

Naima is too good and out of the normal group of singers, that unfortunately for her, all this talent it was hard to understand. When she sang "Summertime" and Randy compared her with Fantasia, saying that nobody sings that song like Fantasia, I lost the "left over" of the respect I had for American Idol. Fantasia is 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% nasal. Naima, is excellent in voice, stage, and personality. I really hope some intelligent Producer gets in touch with this girl and gave her the place she deserves. Unfortunately, not always the good one reaches the top; that's why there are "singers" like Britney Spears, who sounds like a chipmunk with the flu, on the top of the musical charts.

i think thia megia don't deserve to be eliminated from AI coz' she has the most beautiful voice from anyone of the contestants, just stay sweet and for me you're the winner.....

it makes me so sad that thia is out of AI, i hope u wouldn't give up your dreams coz' you have much talents and i hope u join the x factor these fall, and they will better judges...

I am really sad and really in pain when Thia was voted out. Honestly, Thia is unique among the rest...every time she performs I am? really refresh.I like her simplicity...and she's so humble. She doesn't need to shout in every performance just to get the attention of all.

And for the judges, you should be responsible enough for every comments you are given to the contestants. Be fair. Don't be bias. Because you know that your comments really influence the totality of the votes. Don't exaggerate every time you give your comments.

I was sorry to see Thia go. I really enjoyed her voice and songs. I hope "Disney" has been listening to this young lady and can use her voice and sweetness.

Is it just me or do the women contestants get handed more of the negatively-toned feedback from the judges as a general rule?

At any rate, for me Thia and Karen were always the top two female talents in the final 12 and I am stunned to see them eliminated so early.

The only way to make this show fair is to have an over ride by all 3 judges when the national polls make an obvious error.
Pia was everyone's favorite to be the next American Idol. You do it once in the beginning. Why not every week?.

when the producers fix the flaws of the show (ie. voting procedures), and reward talent instead of mediocre performers, the show would then be worth watching again. For all their bravado towards the contestants, the shows' producers are certainly a bunch of nit-wits when it comes to "producing," a credible show, worthy of all the hype. After watching so many disappointing seasons, where the best don't get to the top, I refuse to waste my time watching any more ridiculous episodes until they fix this show for the better. Too bad, this seasons' judges were the best panel ever, but some of the nit-wit general public, could use a bit of guidance in recognizing the amazing performers from those who are below average (but have shiny white smiles - aka Paul- middle name Sanjaya- McDonald). I will also be boycotting product purchases from the shows' sponsors, until this show gets cleaned up. No wonder so many talented performers don't prostitute themselves on these types of shows, where work ethic, true ability and the like are left to a fixed system, crushing the dreams of otherwise would be super stars. American Idol doesn't deserve the best performers anymore, as they fail to protect and reward the best. What a loser show!! I'm going to rent some happy ending movies instead. Good luck, as this show goes down the toilet! Producers, you deserve it, for your lack of foresight and lack of action.

I hope David Foster is on the phone with Pia tonight and that she has not contractually tied herself to Idol producers for a couple years which may be the case. Their flawed voting formula has failed her mightily.

The producers have allowed the show to become a teeny-bopper popularity contest based upon who acts cute and can prance the stage and/or a contest with religious and cultural implications, notwithstanding real vocal talent. The ability to form teams to tie up the phones and vote multiple times is a KEY issue and flaw that better be stopped soon or the show could be in trouble! Use the internet and allow one vote per person.

Also, why not require contestants to sing at least one ballad, mid tempo and uptempo two times during the whole show process, so we are forced to hear how they handle the three. Moreover the 3 judges who obviously worked many extra hours to bring a top notch group of kids to the stage had no way to save Pia TONIGHT. There are flaws in the process. It started to reach a head last year when Kris the Christian beat Adam the gay man. Voting multiple times is ridiculous and unfair. Why not force voters to use only the internet like the polling politicians do so that IP addresses and cookies can stop the multiple voting teams that pit Christians against gays, country against pop or urban, cute/outgoing vs. more introspective yet talented, etc. This might be the straw that broke the camel's back. Producer Simon Lythgoe and Ryan Seacrest should also have a new save system where both the public AND the judges can rectify obvious irregularities involving vote team phone tie-ups, voting multiple times with little girls voting for cute guys vs. talented female singers voted off.

The judges are all big time pros under big contracts who worked very hard to get such a great group; but perhaps they allowed the producers to maintain too much control over flaws in the voting process mentioned above. I will not watch again this year. Why? VOTE FRAUD!

The phone system was off 30 minutes PRIOR to the voting close. I experienced a non-stop busy signal; I have also read several blogs, where others experienced the SAME PHONE PROBLEMS. It is my opinion, the voting results are obviously NOT ACCURATE, therefore PIA should stay and vote off 2 people next week. Pia is an amazing singer and is the only viable contender against James. I know she will get a record deal but American Idol is not going to be the same without her amazing talent.

I am soooooo disappointed in Pia leaving the show that I don't have desire to watch the show anymore this year. What is wrong with America??????? PIA, YOU ROCKED AND I JUST KNEW YOU WOULD HAVE THAT WELL DESERVED TITLE. There should be a new rule that a wild-card can be taken back and given to the one who really deserves it. I don't care for Stefano, he sounds like any other "regular" singer in the world. Pia, I will be waiting for your first album and I WILL BUY IT!!! We loved you girl!!

this is what happens when the judges waste the veto on someone they kind of liked. someone with real talent was voted off and they can do nothing about it. love you Pia. I'm done with this show.

Paul and Haley should have been gone...I thought Pia would be til they end...Along with Jacob and James...I understand you want someone with a unique voice but if they can't sing the genre's you requested of them...They need to go...Judges need to quit picking on the strong singers and praising the weak ones..

Pia shouldn't have been the one to go home last night. I tried and tried to vote for her, but it wouldn't accept my votes. I think 50 times per voter is way too much and ties up the lines. She'll still do well, I'm sure. More non-winners have made it in the music business than not. Pia's a beautiful girl with an amazing voice.

I was crying when hearing Pia sang for the last time. She's truly one of the best contestants in this season. However, I thing she deserved to go home because she didn't show something different from other divas. That's her mistake!

I am disgusted and disappointed with the result that Pia was voted off. She has the total package of a great singer. She doesn't need to make that extra movements just to entertain by just singing alone with her emotion with the song really touches my heart.

It's only Pia that makes me excited to turn our channel to starworld and it hurts that i would no longer see her there for the coming days on idol. Tsk what a big mistake.

the judges were unfair when they keep casey from elimination. now is more unfair when pia eliminated. i'm from indonesia and i was big fan of american idol. now i don't want to watch this show anymore. pia is the best talent in 10 season. best luck pia........

PIA is the best Idol contestant the show had in many years, possibly top three. The judges made a HUGE mistake using the save so early in the contest. The voting process is flawed. The phone lines and web does not handle the number of votes. She will be a huge success if the producers find her some great music to sing. Last night's show may be my last.

i'm glad my tv get marred by my nephew so i don't need to watch pia eliminated, so sad the best talented person is gone. american idol is suck, i never never never watch this show anymore....

OK, get over Pia , she still lives people! I thought she was very onesided with her choices. Poor Stefano probably felt like chopped liver after the drastic reaction bnecause he won the vote!
