I am so disappointed that Joshua did not make it to the finals!  What are the voters thinking.  The judges should not have used their save on Jessica.  They should have let her go.  It is ridiculous that the best singer is leaving the competition.  I won't be watching final.

How ridiculous and obviously fixed!  They made Holly and Joshua go back home a few yrs. ago because they weren't ready yet.   Joshua kicked everyones butt ,especially the 16 yr. old who stands on a dime and sings very good,  but needs to grow yet. I also could not get through on the number for Joshua nor could any of my friends I spoke with.  The line remained busy and I normally can get through every week but last week I suddenly could not.  Coincidence ????? Hmmmm

I personally thank when it came down to the wire that Phillip and Jessica deserve to be in the finale. GO PHILLIP!!!!!!

Once again proving that IDOL is a popularity contest and not about talent....goodbye Josh...you'll do better down the road then either of the contrived "finalists"...

I am not happy concerning yesterdays dismissal of Joshua.. I voted for the wrong person. Joshua's numbers were changed and I did not noticed it until new voting numbers were posted after he sang.. He should not have left. Once I noticed I voted for 03 last digits instead of:01,04, and 07 which are Joshua's new numbers, I voted for him.

My question is why were the numbers changed???? I also disagreed with Jimmies statement concerning his performance. Something should be done when you have someone as talented as Joshua to leave the show, a final vote from panel (judges) should be done to stop such a talented young man from leaving the show as Joshua... I am concern about the voting process because, sometimes you cannot get through the lines in order to vote for your favorite.

Disappointed...

All I'm saying is STOP hating on Josh!! He got praised because he's got talent. Period. He also got voted off & as far as I'm concerned only a few American Idol winners go far. It's mostly the ones that don't win. So for everyone saying Josh can't sing, get a clue!!! All these kids have talent period. Putting someone down cuz your favorite didn't make it. Is damn childish!!! Oh well, If they are strong & determined, they will make it one way or another, Like Jennifer Hudson Whom Simon could not stand & said she would never win American Idol, which she didn't,  but look at her now!  Academy Award winning Actress, Singer, Spokesperson!!! 

@Elvanthia I so agree that Jessica has a wonderful voice but, she IS young & I would have liked Philip & Josh go head to head!!!! I I love Josh. Hands down.... He is the best singer... But, the song Philip sang last night "Beggin" Loving it!!!! I agree that Jess thought Josh should be there cuz of the surprise in her face when they called her name!! I just hope that Philip wins next week because Like you said she's gonna make an album & fade away. I truly hope she doesn't! Josh on the other hand should have went thru & had they NOT used their save for her, they could have used it for him! I think when she was voted off, they should have let her go!! And JUST for the record.. I would have loved for Elsie to be in the top 3... Loved her voice.. I felt she was the best female singer, so unique! Also, did anyone else notice that after every elimination, the judges pretty much say the same things to each contestant? "your a winner" This isn't the end" "write, write write"  Also, you could tell the ones they really liked that got the boot cuz the really talked to them & the ones that theydidn't, it was casual convo... Just an observation!!

Joshua is the best american Idol ever, I really felt hurt for him last night, but that's O.K. because, I know that he will be successful.  No more American Idol for me.

Well America Voted and the 2 picked were the choice!  I do like Joshua, he will get a record deal, as well as others.  I love  Elise, like her style.  Phillip desereved it in my opnion, he has a very unique style, a good GA boy!

This is no shocker, I and all of you have watched for 11 seasons this type of ending. Jessica will never match up to artists like Jennifer, Carrie, Kelly, Katherine, Jennifer or Jordan, nor can she light a candle with any of them..sorry. She lacks presence, which she is young and will still learn and grow into.   She will fade into the dark just like the others...Joshua has a fan base, but more importantly something special, you talk about his screaming...he is gospel...Philip doesn't have the range like Jess and neither does JLO for that matter... but he has pizazz, and he is fun to listen to and a distinct voice and even JLO made it without that range...Philip can sing, and he is a musician, and he now is my pick. I would have liked to see a male duel, but those too do not always end up correct either...

Hey all, I just would like to tell everyone that "Joshua Ledet" by far is the BEST SINGER on American Idol. I do not know exactly how all this voting works, but I know that your vote does not count. If it did, Joshua would have won.  You can best believe that we haven't heard the last of Joshua Ledet - I am so proud of him and we applaud him for an outstanding job. He was the only reason that people watched American Idol, not trying to take anything from any of the other singers. My choice for the last two standing did not include Jessica.  She's a great singer, but she knows in her heart that Joshua should have been up there with Phillip.  American Idol should not be a child thing, this young lady is still in school.  Anyway, I wish them all well.  Joshua, you did Calcasieu Parish Justice!!!!  We Love You!

We as people say "they got it wrong" but someone had to leave and just bc Philip got more votes than Josh, does not mean AMERICAN GOT IT WRONG. it means Philip got more votes and the viewers have to vote to keep who you want to win in the competition. More of Philips Fans voted...Congratulations to Philip and congratulations to Josh for making it this far...I voted the entire two hours for Philip tuesday night and it paid off..If you want your favorite to win, you can't leave it up to the rest of the viewers to do the voting and keep your fovorite in.. Vote Vote Vote. Every contestant in this competition did great this season. Philip has his own style and not everyone will like his music but that doesn't mean he's not good. He was as good as anyone else on that stage this week..Congratulations Philip...Congratulations Jessica.

I am so looking forward to seeing you LIVE Hollie on tour.  Yep, I bagged floor level seats to see you at Sacramento, CA in July LIVE...Yeah!  Hollie was my favorite and I know she will have a successful path as a recording artist.  Everything about her is what made me like her and her talent as the numbers dwindled to the top four.  She stood strong despite the negative feedback tossed her way consistently from Iovine and the three phoney hypocritical judges who clearly have their suttle way of swaying the voting public who are the big swing voters or those on the fence.  I have her songs and her amazing Holliepops fan site to vist to follow Hollie's future success which only awaits.  Thank you Hollie for over two months of amazing performances on the show and a permanent part of my Itunes song collection and in the memory banks of my Ipod.

Wow interesting how with every "still rolling" all the judges talk to the idol who was eliminated for a min or so, Sylar who is SUPER talented gets a meer "Bye we will miss you from JLO" NICE.

I think it is wonderful how the judges take these kids under their wing, giving them the best advice that they can.  And coming from 3 entertainers who have made it in the music industry, I kinda think they know what they are talking about.  I hope Hollie gets a  recording contract and the right songs come her way and that they become huge hits.  These kids worked their butts off and they have been entertaining all of us for months now, learning new songs, some they had never heard before.  Now all of that hard work should pay off for them and not just by being in the A I Tour. 

Congratulations Hollie and all of the Top Ten contestants of Season 11.  You have raised the bar for the level of competence and talent for Season 12.... Good for you. Be proud of yourselves no matter where you placed.  You are all winners.  Good Luck in your very bright future.  God gave you a gift... so use it.

Bring on the shows Duets!!, X Factor!! So tired of AI and the drama of the judges bias words towards Jessica and Joshua. Only to make the other contestants feel like shi*. Especially telling them they are the best AI has ever had on the show Ever! I mean wtf saying that to them know another person is about to go on stage and has just heard that??? I was so happy to have watch The Voice the past 2 seasons. This year my man Jermaine took it home......... wtg!!

Watching the judges saving face to Hollie... Its like what ever. Then with Skylar Jennifer didn't even have 1 word of advice for her. I mean wtf I mean the judges have been bias this whole damn season so why are they being so nice to them now?? Phillip won't win cause this show is fixed.. If he does I think it might just cost him his career for the first year. as everyone knows the 1st year is AI way or the highway. So go ahead Joshua or Jessica and win. Either way you are never getting my vote, money or time.
