I am so happy that sweet Phillip won. This season was full of amazing talent. What was extra special about Phillip is he IS the living of the American Dream, Not fancy..no formal training. average income parents. Just a hometown kid with a love of singing and strumming that guitar.I know others like him,friends of my 17 year old son.  He was always respectable and humble. He has a voice that I could listen to the whole CD and not tire. If I hear him on the radio, I will know that it is Phillip Phillips. Like Daughtrey..you just know that unique voice. This is why he won. Purity..innocent. humble..and beautiful to boot. A nice guy, good boy, Our son..a american grass roots young man that we all could enjoy. I love Jessica and she will go so far in life....I love many of them. I did think it interesting tonight as I watched the other top 10 perform. I realized the order they went home was spot on. The ones in the last 4 were and are so much better that the others. Again ALL of them are absolutly amazing young people with voices that have honesty no acceptable description..BUT...they just weren't as good as the last remaining 4 contestants.. Anyway I am sad it is over for another season. It is the highlight of our week as a family!! Can't wait to go to their concert  when they come to Portland OR. Again Congratulation Phillip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so dissapointed with the judges. They have made so clear their preferences for Phillip Phillips that is almost even impossible not to get to the conclusion that he will win tonight. Also, the crew of American Idol as well as the creators have had so many consessions done with this guy that it is unbelievable such a lack of respect to the other contestans. Shame on all of them, becuase the reality is that Phillip Phillips is not the best voice neither the best performer of this season. To the other contestants do not worry becuase things happens for a reason, I believe that if Phillip Phillips do not win this Idol season he would not be able to find a record deal. Good Luck to All! Jessica and Joshua you are truly artist and the greatest performers. God Bless!

You sing with compassion and I just as well love your voice! though you got voted out, I know that you can still make it to your dreams. Youre one of the most talented performers in this show. Im so glad and so honored to have you heard sing songs. I just love you and aim high. You may never reach the sky but atleast you are now in the clouds. :))

I am so sad that Elise was the one cut tonite. Not to be a hater on anybody, but I think she is much better than a few of the others. I certainly will not be buying anything from Jessica, Holly, or Joshua, but I WILL be looking out for anything she releases and will be buying her music. Looking forward to more from her!

big - BIG mistake being voted off. Â I think Skylar and Colton should have been the last two and I would have felt good no matter who won between the two but this is rediculous.

I think Deandre has potential and great appeal to girls I am sure but he seemed in conflict with himself at times....and hope that he doesnt give up.

He definately has a future in music. I loved him, BUT he used that falsetto too much. His lower register was much sexier and THAT would have done him better...some smooth changed up jazzy version of a Bob Marley song or something...He is unique and really talented...just has to find his nich.

I almost quit watching when De Andre had to leave. He is amazing for as young as he is. If he comes out with a CD I will be the first to buy it. I love his sound...

it was too early for Deandre to get eliminated, but anyway, it's better than Jessica being voted off.Go Jessica! As for Deandre he will have his time too one day, maybe it's another way around for him.

i love deandre point blank but at some point its going to be narrowed down to one winner..do i wish he was still on? YES but im sure we'll be hearing him soon along with a few others!
