JESSICA FTW! I would have preferred if she was with Joshua in the finale. but im glad that the teacher's pet is leaving too. He's a great singer but he keeps on freaking screaming. Now it's America's time to vote for the real talent or the white cutie who can sing and play the guitar.

Joshua Ledet IS the American Idol. Jessica and Philip are good, very good..  BUT...Joshua is GREAT! 

He is as Jennifer said...destined for greatness. A voice like we've not heard in years.

If you think the show is legit. They always show bias. They built up Jessica and Josh way to much. If they give Jessica her own songs she will do great. The judges suck. What an idiot lopez was. Okay Baby, I want to hit you, i don't know what to do with you. A natural comedian. Jackson may have been a great bass player but Dog, Dude, Yo was a bit much. Steven Tyler is a big disappointment. he is great with his own thing, but other than that is Shut Up already!! Now back to one show. Josh and Jessics in the bottom 3. To belive this is stupity. We need new judges. I think Simon is the only worth judge ever. If he loved you he tells it and does not like your performance he says it. Kudos to Simon

They really need to take a look at what happened that night to the limited access to vote for Joshua.  I voted for him religiously every week but last week it was hell trying to get thru on the phone lines and even to vote online.  I was horrible but I kept trying until eventually I got thru.  Something is definitely wrong there.

Other than Steven Tyler, the judges pretty much are sickening, drooling all over Joshua and Jessica, thay aren't supposed to play favorites, but help all the contestants be the best they can be.  Joshua is a great talent, I think people got tired of his screaming, it got old after a while, Jessica has a good voice, but she needs to find her genre, she is boring, no personality, Phillip is the only one who has a great personality, he is so humble, not cocky, good looking, personable, a unique voice and is appealing to everyone. Never boring....hope he wins.

So sad to see Joshua go.  All three contestants are immensely talented and have a very bright future ahead of them.  I am certain Josh will be a success.....however......I feel that perhaps American Idol, in allowing video footage of Josh's dad wearing a gun, may have hurt Josh's chances with America.  I understand that working in a pawn shop may make it necessary to  wear a gun.  I am not commenting on anyone's right to bear arms, or anyone's right to protest it.  Being such a volatile issue, it should not have been made a part of Josh's hometown video.  It is also unfortunate that Ryan saw fit to mention it and call America's attention to it.  I believe American Idol dropped the ball on this one.  They should be very vigilant in allowing anything to possibly prejudice the vote that should be solely made on talent and popularity.

I still think it should have been Phillip and Elise in the finale. Elise is amazing, and I cant wait to hear more of her music she is true talent! These two are both unique and just plain good!

Last year Scotty and Lauren were constantly criticized for singing songs that were too old for them.  Apparently that doesn't apply to Jessica.  It's a shame and a disservice to her.  They've made her 16 going on 25 and have dressed her like a diva.  Really?  Wonder what she'll be doing when she's really 25.  She needs a lot more maturity to take on all that being the "American Idol" involves.  I'm so disappointed with the judges and mentors for not letting 16 year old Jessica be 16 year old Jessica.  Wish the two boys were in the finale.

Joshua did a great job, I feel he should have been in the final, but with vote for the worst going on the best will always lose.  Joshua will never be a loser he will be successful in everything he does, no need to cry i enjoyed every song you song. I believe you will have a record deal in the near future. No more Amercan Idol for me, This is a setup.

I am still reeling from the shock when Americans voted last night to send Josh home....are yall crazy????? That's ok, though, bad decisions are made every day and we learn from them....remember that when yall are watching Josh accept them Grammys and American Music Awards and Soul Train Awards......it is going to be "on" now.....watch out, a star has been born and he is coming to perform....don't let it get you, Josh, you are the best and have proved it every week, keep it going....be waiting to buy your music everyday!!!! LOVE YOU - (p.s. I have a son named Josh - spelled Joshuah - and I have a soft spot in my heart for you, too!!!!)

Sometimes the best singers do not win American Idol but go on to win Oscars and other awards...but what is very refreshing is the LOVE and support that comes across the television by the Idol Judges...DWTS Judges should see how REAL love and class is extended!  Thank you for a wonderful show guys!  Much LOVE back at ya!

I don't believe it Joshua is one of the top contender  and a good singer.But who am I maybe God has a plan for him.

Joshua is an excellent singer and yes we wanted him to win but God has something "BETTER" in store for him. There is a bigger blessing for him. For example Jennifer Hudson. What GOD has for you Joshua it's for you and no one can take it from you. Get ready this is just the beginning.

How does a guy with 14 standing ovations from the judges get voted off? Not sure what happened here but America screwed up. When you look at Jessica all she can sing is ballads. Every time she has tried an upbeat song which I believe was only twice, they told her it wasn't good. What is she going to do, make a CD with 13 ballads on it? I won't buy it. It should have been Joshua and Phillip in the finale. Phillip has the creativity and is a true musician. I think Joshua should have been the winner. He proved that he could sing it all, no matter what they threw at him.

I loved Hollie and Skylar Lanine keep it up with you voice both of you i think they are both pretty. I think you both did were the best and my favorits.

Like Phillip, everything Elise sings sounds the same. Stylistically and vocally, both singers imitate qualities of other great rock singers, so the style and vocal production is not a natural extension of themselves, but rather, an affect.

While it may be entertaining for some, such performing has inherent limitations. I've already heard all I'd like to hear of both of these young people for a lifetime!

PS I thought it ill-advised for Elise to tell everyone that it would have been a sin for her not to have shared her great talent with the world -- yeeeeeeesh....

Hollie has shown that she is the class of the group. What  great strength  and maturing she had during the elimination. This girl has "IT' Randy, its a shame it took her leaving for the judges to see it. Love you Hollie!

This year the fans had a real treat getting to watch and listen these talented singers.

every week people are complaining that America got it wrong again and again...if you do not want to see your idol going home then you should campaign for their behalf and vote until you drop, just like the other fans did to their own respective idol...result goes by vote..so you have to vote in every way you can...every contestant have their own style so respect that..stop bashing and hating because they are friends in real life....and if your sick and tired of reading same praises, then stop reading or going to any site that will irritate you..simple as that!

Not only have talent but are also incredibly beautiful and sexy, I hope to see much more of you in the future as the great artist you are because you have a fan from Venezuela

Hated it that Skyler was eliminated.  I loved watching her perform.  Loved her voice and energy and stage presence.  Holly's the one that needs to go.  I wish Skyler the best and look forward to seeing great things for her.

Phillip Phillips should have been gone a long time ago.  Elyse and Skylar should be still on the show and so should Colton.  If Phil Wins the show it will be just like when Taylor Hicks won or Ruben Studdard.  They will never make it to Superstardom.

Frankly....I thought Skylar Laine would end up in second or third place in the final show. Don't know what is going on with Philip Philips...But he should have went home a long time ago

Well I guess Patty has a problem with latino voting. If you think you're person should win then why don't you vote for two hours and maybe the person will make it. I don't think it's just latino voting for Jessica it's all the people that know she has a beautiful voice. Whether she win AI or not the girl will be BIG????????? So what if she's young, Scotty won last year and he was 17.  So people please stop with the racial $$$$ it's starting to really get on my nerves. Joash can sing but he should have been born in the 60s then people would say he's singing and not screaming,  Elise was as arrogant as they come, she's a vocal teacher so she really  should not have been on  AI, but that's Ok cause vocal teacher or not she didn't make it. So in 4 weeks we will see the winner. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is Philip still there?....Im so sick of him and that damn guitar I dont know what to do!!!..... Get rid of Philip!....Sklar  shouldnt have went before him...Just my opinion
