after he won..not that he should have won...

Phillips won because of the 12 to 15 year olds that voted. He had a gimmick. He twisted his face and closed his eyes. Gimmicks have always worked in show business for a short time. In my time their q=was Johnny Ray who's hit was "Little white cloud that cried" He cried when he sung it. Reached No. ! in the charts. There were many since him.

it's only sympathy why phillip won because of his kidney problem.

I swear some of you are just ridiculous!  Quit hating and bashing...it's not YOU that lost!  If Jessica can stand up there and be happy for him, why can't you all?  The negativity isn't going to help either one of them and it isn't constructive at all.  I'm sure you would feel differently if that were your family member who won gand was getting bashed.  It's not HIS FAULT that America liked him better.  They BOTH have a shot at a great career, so why not just be happy for them both?  If she's that great, it won't matter if she won or not....look at Chris Daughtry!!!!  He's doing amazing and he wasn't even in the top 3.  By the way, I love Phillip and his singing....if he's not your style of music, fine...but that doesn't make him less of an artist.

He'll be unknown after a year, just like the past winner.

Jessica needs to perform a girl like her age and maybe has a chance to much drama for her age........

The 132M you can see no more on the next season, because you disappointed Jessica Sanchez fans... I know that night Jessica has more votes than Phillip but what can we do if personally American Idol manipulated it.. It's just a waste of money. I wasted time, money and effort that night, and being able to sleep late at night is not funny.. NO more American Idol next time.. PS: to AI..Please let us buy Jessica Sanchez album(songs) in itunes. People are complaining why can't we buy, it's been block the whole time. Is it because you only want Phillip to sell more? c'mon guys stop being a manipulative to every HUMAN BEING! goodness sake!

I Love PP but JS is still my favorite. For me, the reason why the vote reaches to 132 M is because JS was supported by Filipino,. Believe me, if there is not Filipino blood next season the 132M votes will decrease. Well congrats to both Idol. Phillip deserve the title as well since he has the down to earth features. 

 Komomo Pesigan know what im also a filipino, currently living here in Phils and been following all these stuffs but this is a competition we cant do something about it. i like Jessica but the people speak. all we need to do is to accept and move forward and stop this trail madness bec it would not give good benefits for two countries. I hope some filipinos would stop commenting bad, you cant turn back the time. Top 2 is also a winner bec nobody cant get that far. We all have to be proud bec nobody in Filipino root get this far although Jessica is only half filipino but to get this far is so hard and she surpasses all hardships to be on that position. PP is also good in his own style. These two finalists were very far different in music style. I am a music inclined young adult gal but  these two finalists did their best in their own way, very two different young ones

Let us stop commenting bad. I hope some Filipinos sometimes would stop being a "crab mentality", pulling the one who is already on the top and try to move forward.
