IDOL SHOULD CHANGE THEIR  WAYS OF VOTING LIKE  THE  X-FACTOR  WHERE YOU CAN ONLY VOTE SO MANY TIMES.  THIS IS SO SHOCKING THAT "JOSH" THE BEST EVER ON  AMERICAN IDOL GOT VOTED OFF BECAUSE  YOUNG  GIRLS SIT OUT THERE AND VOTE  FOR 2 HOURS SRAIGHT BUT.. "NOT" FOR THE BEST SINGER.. ONLY  FOR WHO IS THE "BEST" LOOKING GUY.  AND JESSICA  HAS THE PITY OF THE WORLD BECAUSE OF HER DADDY GOING AWAY., ALTHOUGH SHE IS A GREAT SINGER, SHE DOES NOT COMARE TO  JOSHUA'S SINGING TALENT ABLITY.  SHOCKING !!!  JOSHUA YOU ARE THE BEST EVER .. I THOUHGT I HAD SEEN THE BEST WHEN ADAM LAMBERT WAS THERE, BUT YOU JOSH HAVE BLOWN THEM AWAY. I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT IS IN YOUR FUTURE .. BECAUSE YOU WILL BE AND ARE AMAZING !!!!  .

i know i am going a lot of crap for saying this, but with Jessica i get bored.  and Joshua, hes a screamer and personally i don't like that. Phillip Phillips for the win.

Wow....It has been such a great season this year!... Hate to see anyone go home... Tears in the eyes for Elise, and Colton, tho... They were my #1 picks!

Colton,  American Idol is not the same without you,  You have great talent and I know you will go far.  God bless you in all you do.   Every one I  know was sad to see you go.

I don't think America had anything to do with Colton being eliminated.  I have felt for years the network chose who stayed and who went home.  Still think that.  Jennifer Lopez needs to grow up , learn how to dress and act.  She dresses slutty, and acts stupid over every guy on the show.  The judges say the same things about each artist so how are the contestants to know if they are really doing good or if the judges are talking just to be heard.  Steve Tyler needs to wash his mouth out with soap.  If he can not conduct himself in a way that it can be viewed and not beep out what he says as there are young people in the audience that do not need to hear his foul mouth.  Randy Jackson just needs to be honest once in his life.  So Colton had an off night, big deal, this does not change the fact he is one of the most talented performers ever on Idol.  He will succeed as he has God on his side.  How did J Lo get where she is , as it is easy to see, she does not.

Colton has been watching Idol since he was a little kid.  Why has he not learned from the past.  To win American Idol you have to think about what most people want to hear and can identify with.  One of the reasons Adam Lambert didn't win was because of his outlandish costumes so why did Colton change his normal way of dressing last night - he looked too different from his usual dress, looked like he was wearing a costume and lost the votes of older people in the process.  I like Colton but he doesn't care about what other people think ( he was caught on tape saying that) and they were the voters last night. 

It's too bad these kids don't figure out this process. 

It makes no sense.H e was never in the bottom 3 and then wham bam sent home.So many others should have gone first.Colton you are so cute and so talented and please don't just go home. Get out there and keep in touch with your fans and work it hard to get your music out there.I hope you get an agent soon and don't take a break. See if you can get some songs on i-tunes or a record deal before the finale!Now that would be so cool! America completely got it wrong. Colton you will be a star. Your a true artist. Unlike others that dont make the song theirs, each and every week you did. You put on a great show and it was amazing watching you. Cant wait for your cd to come out......

Jessica Sanchez is my all time favorite.... but I do feel that Colton should not have been the one to leave.  He has such heart and so individual and it is a shame that he was voted out!   Many of the finalists these year have "it" and I feel bad for them all!!!  Some have already left and had so much more to offer, as does Colton.  DeAndre was another favorite of mine.....gone too soon!!!  Anyway...love to them all!   This has been an awesome season of talent!!!! <3

Idol...please revise the system so this can't happen again.   He is a great entertainer her may not have won Idol who knows but her is far above others.  Consider limiting the votes so the young people can't sway the votes unfairly.  PLEASE make this competition make sense and be about the Best talent.

AI is pushing a win for a female.  They are cleary pushing for Jessica to win.  While Jessica is good, I resent the heavy handiness of the programming this year.  And seriously, judges?  Your comments are nothing but fluff and when you do make comments that actually criticize the comments are contrived and obviously designed to puncture, not help the contestant who just performed.I really have no favorite this year and have felt the field of contestants was stellar.  Yet, this year's programming and tireless effort to prop one contestant is the worst yet. 

The judges should be fired. It is not about he singing. It is they way they acted and said mean things last week.Jessica did not even sing for the save yet and Steven yells out "were gonna use the save this time Ryan. Half way through her singing they stop her by giving her hugs. There was no singing for your life. Putting down the other contestants especially Holly was a crime. You can like Jessica that's fine, but be professional. Don't say America got it wrong and belt out were going to use the save. How as a contestant feel hearing this coming back this week knowing the judges do not like you except Jessica. If you agree, post your comments about this please.

The only reason she was saved is because she is Hispanic and Jennifer is also.  She is off key more than she is on.  While she does have some talent, she really needs to mature some and go from there.  Phillip and Colton and maybe Skylar are the only talent still left.  I am so sick of Jessika and Joshua singing the same songs every week, they are so boring.  Josh did to better last week though.  I would buy anything Phillip or Colton put out right now, but I doubt Jessika will sell much of anything as she sounds like everyone else out there now.  Idol needs to think about that when they are using that save.  They are there to make money, and they won't with her, but would with Phillip or Colton.  I would think that past years when the people win, who shouldn't,  would show them that  they shouldn't make such mistakes like this.  Jessika, I am sure you are a nice girl, but you just aren't that good of a singer.

This just shows Jessica's maturity. If other idols were in her position of being eliminated, will they be able to pull off their save song? Despite her age, Jessica is still very composed and this shows her determination to win this whole thing.

The judges this year are trying to direct the outcome of the program.  Last week's vote shows that people don't appreciate it.  jessica is good but the others are too. After all the uproar, even before, Jessica is going to have a contract somewhere she doesn't need to win.  Look at Doughtry he's awesome.  There can only be one winner.

Yes Jessica is fantastic.  But, the judges always say THEY are looking for the whole package, and that is what I believe America is doing.  Vote for the best?  Well, perhaps we ARE voting for who WE would go see in concert, whose records WE would buy.  Jessica and Joshu do not fit into my music favorites.  Skylar, Phillip, Colton DO.  So I vote for them because that is who I think should be the idol, for ME.    Some years my favs don't win, some years they do.  But the judges were totally out of line by declaring that Jessica is the best, indicating that SHE should win.  If I were one of the ther contestants, I would call a foul.  A big foul.

i agree that the judges are showing favoritism and its unfair to the others.... but... they still are the AMERICAN IDOL JUDGES... we just have to respect their decision.. they've been doing their job for a very long time... so their OPINION IS WHAT MATTERS TEH MOST... JESSICA is one of the best singer in the whole competition nobody can deny that fact.... 

PEOPLE will always vote for their favorites... but sometimes we HAVE TO VOTE for the one who deserves and not just because their the one we like... CHOOSE WISELY!

i think jessica has a great voice ,but she does nothing for me allso a few others .in my opinion phil  and colton have there own style ,,they are there own artist ..this is american idol .. we the fans get to choose who is the american idol ..not the judges ..yea,jessica will get a contract we know they all love her ..she sounds like jennifer hudson to me ,,wich is amaseing ...but we allready have jennifer... and just like jennifer ,she didnt win ,but look at her now... the choice is ours ..how can they say ,,you are sapose to vote for the best ,,,well maybe she is not the best to many people out there .. thats not your call.. seems like if the judges allready made up there minds that jessica should win.. well ,why keep goin ..how du the others feel ..wasnt cool.they could have saved her ,,sure..but not like that.

I think Jessica's problem is not that she can't sing but the fact that Randy and Jennifer keep cramming her down everyone's throat and the fact she dosen't sing music that most kids her age can relate too!!! I think that since a country person won last season, Skylar won't win this season! Philip and Elise are good but not exciting. Kind of like Chris Allen or David Cook. And Joshua is totally gay or some thing NOT MARKETABLE AT ALL!!!  Hollie is just in the wrong season! Nice girl, very pretty and a good voice, but not as strong as the other girls!!! So, that leaves Colton and Jessica!!  Either of them could win, but Colton is current and Jessica needs to get off the balad thing and sing some thing that young people can relate to.  Best voice, Jessica! Honestly, I was disappointed BIG TIME last night. Holly should have been voted off and Elise should be also. That ONE save, should have been "saved" for someone who actually needed it and that person, was NOT Jessica Sanchez. Regardless of whether she wins or not, SHE WILL BE SIGNED! She has already had the exposure that she needs for that to happen...What erks me the most, is her response, NO REACTION!!! Like she expected it and was entitled to it! She is very talented, I will say, but she has a great deal to learn about humility and gratitude!! She is NOT the whole package and has lots of growing up to do...
