Hollie: You can update a song like "Travelin' Man", which Rick Nelson sang.  He was backed by great musicians during his career, including James Burton, a fantastic guitarist.  You will want to change some lyrics.  Example: "I'm a travelin' mam, make a lot of stops, whenever I can, and in every port, I own the heart, of at least one handsome man."  (I have fun trying).  You can make this kind of song yours.  The other gals and you can sing, "We are travelin' mams".  Better writers will help you, but think of the potential!  This song is also lighter than much of your material, and can give you a different perspective.  Have fun on the tour.  Respectfully submitted.     

i think american idol is riged ithought it was last year too.i think it doesnt matter who you vote for.i would bet you anything all the votes doesnt get turned in.american idol is defintly is set up.i dont know how they do it but  thier is somthing  wrong. i bet thiers more people each year that doesnt watch the show anymore. the last three pe0ple went home should have been the top three.i think who ever is making the most money or should isay the parents,cause this year money is gonna be your idol.can anybody out there tell me who do you pay must be who counts the votes.ibet there isnt know one from the show you could talk to or text to find out. skyler and colton  was the best this year im sure they have already have a record deal awaiting. as far as the judges they do a real good job. you guys keep talking about elise. she has done a real good job you will be hearing her going along ways too.

Elise was robbed and she was the very best singer American Idol has ever had and performer and America was so wrong in the voting and yes the judges was way to hard on her but they also wanted to see her in her in element  like when she sang Whole Lotta Love best performance ever  on America Idol Elise was a American Idol and now that she is gone I have no reason to watch the show the other singers or Ok but not a American idol maybe Hollie would be the next one I would vote for but America has had her in bottom three also it just makes no sense Phillip should of been cut weeks ago and Jessica should of never been saved and Skylar great country voice that's all and each year it is about country singers Joshua would be a excellent gospel  singer but not a American Idol come on. America open your eyes and it is funny how all the beautiful people are already gone any way Elise will be missed wish her all the luck in the world. Hollie is my pick now and I bet she is gone after this week Something needs to be done about the voting bottom line.

Hopefully Skylar will be in the Finale. I really hope.

Tina24  am with you on a few things. but as for the judges fav. i dont think so. because  i think they have a few fav   this yr. i vote every week for the ones that our goodt 1. performer. 2. there voice. 3. what they wear for the song chores. hollie is also a great singer. but she need to perform better. and she and jessica could win this too. but it is really hard to say who will win. this years they our all good in there own way . Elies is good for a Band but in my eyes not for a record

I think Jessica can sing..and for sure she has a good future..but I do think the people knew what they were talking about...She has not UMMMFF no Character...She always looks like "Poor poor ME"...Or.." If I look sad enough people will vote for me".. Please know!! I DO THINK SHE CAN SING.She's Fantastic..But it takes MORE THAN just singing.

Now I've heard everything. It's bad enough that the judges reacted like they did when they played the "save" card, but to accuse people of being recist because they don't support Jessica Sanchez is really beyond belief!!! Who cares what anyone's race, ethnicity, color, country of origin, sexual preference, or genre of music is. I don't vote for people who cannot sing a straight song without runs and vibrato up the ying yang. I know it's popular to do those thing these days, but in my own musical training, I was told that a vibrato shows lack of control of your voice. And a ballad or two for the entire competition is fine, but EVERY song you do??? I wish the best for all these young people, but please do not disrepect the other contestants.

The FACT is even if Jessica has a great voice and lots of votes. She will not win the title. AI is for true Americans people only. But the most important is Jessica shows and shares to the world what GOD's given great talent to her. No matter what Jessica will shine in GOD's way. You can never put a GOOD man down. Iam voting for the person  who's music Iam going to go out and buy in the future and iam sorry but that is not Jessica!! 

Sure, Jessica can sing.  But she sounds like so many other artists on the radio today.  She's not original.  I would never buy her album.  I can't say the same for some of the others.  Take Elise, Colton, or Phillip for example.  Not only are they all extremely talented MUSICIANS (not just singers) but there is something unique about their voices.  In my opinion, that's why America did not vote for Jessica.  She's too much like what's already out there today.  We want something original, unique.  As far as who is the best, that's a matter of personal opinion...of America's opinion.  Let us do our job and do the voting.  Stay out of it judges!  You're there to critique and help the contestants grow as artists.  Not to tell us who we should vote for. 

Jessica will most likely be a pop/R&B artist (sorry, that's the best I can classify it).  That's not everyone's tastes.  I'd much rather listen to the different styles/genres of music that Elise or Colton, and even Phillip perform than Jessica's genre.  So whoever the winner is, they will go on to record an album in that genre most likely.  I don't listen to too much R&B so why are the judges telling me to vote for Jessica?  She's not my idol.  I won't buy her music.  Let me vote for the contestant that I would go see in concert.  Isn't that the point?  To vote for who you personally think is best and would like to see original work from.....?!!  

Jessica Sanchez, is  an inspirable person with Gods gift. I agree with the Judges decission on saving her. She put her 100 and 10% when she goes on stage every time she sings. I for one enjoy listening to her sing she puts tears on my eyes when she sing and can't believe with a true talent and  to carry her self the way she does makes me proud to be a filipino. Reach for the stars Jessica with your voice!. I am a big fan from a small town in California "Plumas Lake" I hope Californians will pull together and support you as a whole Californians AMERICAN IDOL.

It was rather bizarre the way the judges acted last night towards Jessica.Sure , she can sing but she is NOT the best singer in America! She has had an attitude since try-outs that she is better than everyone else and it shocked her to see that not everyone in America agrees with her! And what's with this alter ego thing? How weird is that for a 16yr old to have an alter ego? If she would win or lose, wnich one is it, Jessica or her "alter-ego?hahaha!  Criminals have used that as an alibi....oh, that wasnt ME, that was the "other " ME! Jessica sounds more like a Broadway singer to me, I can't imagine her having a hit song on the radio. She needs to get a personality and quit being so stuck on herself.!Joshua sounds too "churchy" for me.....And he screams alot. Elise needs to go, she isn't near as talented as the rest of the kids,...she looks kind of hard to me, dress her up and she still looks like that. So, anyway, Not cool Judges...the rest of the kids probably feel like why go on, ?

I would like to know why Jennifer and Steven so obviously dislike Holly.  She has a fantastic voice and they just keep picking on her week after week while they let Phillip and others sing off key, pitchy and actually brag on them.  What is it they have against her.  Randy has even been very hard on her.  I don't like the blatant favoritism on this show.

When Joshua sang his song "All By Myself" everyone referred the song as a Mariah Carey song?  Doesn't anyone remember Niellson who sang this originally?  He was a wonderful artist & it's a shame his name wasn't mentioned or he wasn't given credit for singing this song BEFORE Mariah!  SHAME ON YA'LL!!!!!!

Tonight was a good night of singing. People keep on talking about Heejun but um Heejun might be the biggest commercial threat on the show. He might just be playing the game to the fullest. He can sing, he's cute, and he's funny, please I love Heejun

Well, Because Erica Van Pelt is gone, there is really no reason to watch this season anymore!  She is definately one of the top three or four and she is eliminated...Wow! ...and the judges didn't even bring her back when given a chance to!  I hope she does well but the teenagers are killing this show....they continue to vote for who's cute and not  the best talented!  I'm done with American Idol this season!

It's funny how some people put malice in what they see when the camera rolls.  Can't you just be happy for the contestants?  Even if they're eliminated or not, they still get to follow their dreams and that's really good.

I totally agree.  Erika is hands above a better talent than either HeeJun or the guy with the long curly hair.  There isn't even any comparison in my view. 

Yeah, where was Heejun?  Saved from the chopping block so he couldn't be bothered.  I don't know how he made it this far.  There were so many others who were so much better than him.

I, for one, want to know....what the hell do the judges see in Heejun?  I can not stand his voice and he truly "screwed the pooch" the other night when he sang "My Life".
