Let me start off by saying that Taylor is one cool cat. This is a great slow dance album, with some fun dance tunes. He definetly has grown and I love the R&B sound mixed in with some nice cool Jazz, that makes you feel like going out on a Friday night to the local Jazz club and listening to the sounds of the city. 

1. The Distance - I love this song. He mixes some different sounds in and it blends well, and his vocals are great. The lyrics are nice as well. 

2. What's Right Is Right - Great first choice as the first single, his vocals are amazing and really smooth, and this does prove why America voted for Taylor to win Idol. I love the trumpet in this song, and the lyrics are beautiful. This a song for lovers.

3. New Found Freedom - One of my favorites, and this should be the next single. It could be a big hit for him. I love the lyrics, very inspirational, and the music really makes the song as well. His vocal's are amazing and powerful.

4. Nineteen - Another one of my favorites, very sad and beautiful, with a great message behind it. I would love to see this as a single. His vocal's are beyond amazing.

5. Once Upon A Lover - I absolutly love the music arrangment and his vocals just pop and turns the song on it's head. This song makes me feel like I'm in Italy, at a sidewalk cafe, and dancing with a gorgeous italian guy. The lyrics are great as well.

6. Seven Mile Breakdown - The music adds a lot of tension and makes the song come alive, and I do think of New Orleans when I hear this song. His vocals are wow, hot. The lyrics definetly make the song.

7. May Be You Should - I love it when he sings the ballads, he has a wide range and it's nice to hear him use his full range and voice. This song is a nice cool breeze that dances like the waves crashing on shore and the feeling that sparkles like the stars in the sky.

8. Keeping it Real - Fun song to dance to, and the lyrics are catchy and current. Another one of my favorites and this could be a hit. His vocals are great.

9. I Live On A Battlefield - I love this song, this is a favorite as well. The lyrics and the arrangment really make the song. His vocal's are great and is a great mix to the music. 

10. Wedding Day Blues - Ex husband done wrong so he writes a song to tell her off and get her back for all the wrong she did to him, but he still ends up getting the girl in the end. Love this song, and I love the vocals and the lyrics.

11. Woman's Got To Have It - Taylor is a great vocalist and this proves it, I'm not too sure why this was turned into a duet for him and Elliot, because Elliot can't sing and Taylor proves to be the better singer here. I do like the lyrics though, but I would have dumped Elliot for someone else.
